"Almost tempted to disagree, but for once you are right. My bias is really showing here, maybe we stick to work rather than standing around stroking your ego." He mused, offering a small smirk. It was no secret out of the ED attendings Robby was the hardest to get along with, he was sure plenty of department heads had their horror stories of having to deal with him either pushing orders off onto them or sending patients up without approval. It was almaot worth the fact he was the one ED attending that didn't get pushed around by the other departments out of fear for what Robby could do to them.
Maybe he just had a soft spot for young well to do med students that actually showed promise and cared about the job just as much as he did.... well, both things can be true.
"The fact you would even offer is why you are my favorite." He mused, handing the file off to Bill as he rounded the patients bed side to get a look at his vitals.
"Yeah... theres the thing. Any seasoned attending would tell you never to answer the page until you get the scans." Robby admitted, offering a guilty looknas he turned to look at Bill. "But since you've already started your assessment, looks Ike mister Walsh is Neros brand new patient and a fast track to a bed upstairs."
Robby shrugged a bit as he laughed. "Sorry, hate to pull it on you, but I really need beds cleared." He added, glance back to Bill as he stepped up to examin the patinet. "Low grade fever and intermittent aphasia."
