That one is a short PWP of Garashir’s first time together and mostly just involves them jerking each other off. 🥰💖 It was loosely inspired by one of the early smut scenes in Heated Rivalry (not the dialogue or circumstances, just the desperately horny vibes and the particular sex acts I think? i just know that i watched the scene and was like “damn that’s hot, I think Garak and Bashir should do that too. 👀 and I have the power to make that happen 📝” I ought to rewatch that scene though bc now I can’t seem to remember it very clearly lol… I basically HAVE to rewatch it. for research, you see).

That wip is about Julian being all lonely and frustrated because Garak and Sisko have started working together more closely bc of the Dominion War, leading to Garak having no time to flirt with Julian anymore. The vibe is that feeling when you are so overwhelmed by something, but it’s TOO big to process, so instead you feel yourself repeatedly getting irritable over petty nonsense that you KNOW you’re overreacting to. And then, you just squash all those feelings down. 🎉

So basically, I saw this post by @knivesandteeth and went insane. 😂 Pretty soon after I saw that post, I wrote a draft of a scene setting the stage (establishing that Garak and Bashir are roommates on the Defiant, with mutual horniness and yearning for intimacy, but Garak thinks he is just a creep for wanting him so badly), and then I STARTED to write the part where Julian gets hit with shrapnel and Garak has to take care of him and finger his wound and feel guilty about finding that hot, and of course then the words stopped flowing (right as I got to the part that had initially inspired me and was the whole point of it, come on 😔), and so I set it aside for awhile.

messy drunk Julian is a short wip set post-canon and it is about Julian drunkenly confessing his feelings to Garak in a recorded video message, but, like, he gets too close to the mic or something and tries to whisper it to him all intimately and it just totally garbles that one part of it, the most important part, the part where he was like “i’m lowkey in love with you” or whatever. So then they talk in a real time video call the next day to clear the air, and Garak has to pretend he knows what secret Julian attempted to tell him, so it seems like he’s avoiding the subject by giving equivocal answers, and so then Julian dances around it too bc he doesn’t want to have to say it out loud again (bc it was so embarrassing to reveal his feelings like that when Garak apparently doesn’t reciprocate…). Any it is all probably resolved very quickly within the realtime conversation lol, but I haven’t actually written that part yet 😂

“Oh, you could never hurt me, Doctor,” Garak said so gently that Julian now felt sure of his own guilt in the matter.

Inconstant Moon is my one (1) soulmate AU that I will ever write, and it is about Sloan convincingly faking a soulmark to match Julian’s. It’s Garashir endgame of course, but they must suffer a little first. Anyway. Come for the unpleasant Sloanshir dubcon, stay despite the author’s audience-alienating, purpose-defeating cynicism about soulmate AUs! 🥰 I have had to make a worldbuilding sooooo convoluted just so that Garak and Bashir can never ever for as long as they live (and they will live happily ever after) be certain that they are each other’s soulmates in this fic! …which I have also been gently informed, by multiple friends, is really Not what people would want from a soulmate AU fic at all 😂 But alas, the uncertainty is part of my vision and I’m sticking with it lol

Instead of Bashir making out with various men, though, i’m just having mirror garak both make out with and fuck him. And in this fic mirror Garak is either straight, or so repressed that he thinks he is, so this is an unpleasant experience for everyone except the Intendant who is having the time of her life fondling Kira while spectating some gay sex absolutely no one is consenting to. ^_^
