Libertarian rantings

I live in Nh where we still honor the 2nd Amendment. According to the FBI in 2013 we had 21 homicides, 5 by handguns (0 by rifles & shotguns), 6 by knives, 5 with blunt objects and 5 by fists & feet. Even though my state has no restrictions on magazine capacity, no prohibited firearms, no waiting period, no licensing to own or buy and is a MUST issue state for concealed carry permits we had more people killed by cutlery and an equal amount bare handed. Even nationally in the same year if you subtract gang violence there were under 2000 homicides committed in the US. Out of a population in excess of 312 million that is statistically 0%. We do not have a gun problem we have a liberal media and dishonest politicians problem.

Think about this the next time you think to support increased government control. You might think gun control and single payer are great ideas now, but give it awhile and government will turn it into something you never wanted or expected.
