I read the edited version this morning, and I really didn't want to read something that long-winded again just to play spot-the-difference... so I lazily got a website to compare them to know what was in the OG that Tara Knight decided to edit out (because reading the edited version, it seemed made in a lab to piss off Knight's audience, so I figured whatever got scrubbed out must have been especially egregious).
Some of them were small grammar or phrasing tweaks, like replacing instances of the word "meltdown" with "crisis", I assume to dodge the connotation of an autistic meltdown and thus come off less ableist. Here are a couple of the comparisons (not all, just the ones I think probably generated the most rage), starting with the quotes from the revised version:
Her voice is soft and slightly girlish, with a small upward pitch at the end of every sentence that has settled, over time, into her voice.
The puppygirl has mobilized the aesthetic of being a figure in need of protection in order to position herself as the figure being protected, which is the position from which the labor of the other women in the configuration can be extracted in her name. The smallness she performs is the smallness inside of which other women’s labor disappears. She is a trans woman extracting from trans women, and the aesthetic that licenses the extraction is the aesthetic of being most in need. The polycule does not see the extraction because the extraction is happening through care, and the care is figured as the polycule’s central good.
And here is what those quotes originally said:

The puppygirl has put on the costume of feminization in order to put the condition of feminization on someone else. The aesthetic of being a feminized figure has been mobilized to dodge the labor of being a feminized figure, which is to say, to dodge being a woman, which is to say, to install someone else in the place of the woman so that the woman’s labor can be extracted from her while the puppygirl wears the woman’s clothes.
Emphasis mine, to be clear.
Any female person writing like this would be immediately branded a TERF, she/her-ing be damned. Knight is absolutely lost in the sauce on radfem LARP. It is 100% on purpose, no one who spends time in trans or trans-supportive spaces online goes long without picking up the basics of how to spot "transmisogynistic" rhetoric. The revised version still has Undertones, but the OG was shockingly explicit about the eponymous puppygirl pretending to be a woman in order to get favors and special treatment from Real Women. The fact that the Real Women in question are other TIMs is irrelevant, the idea that one trans person is more "real" than another is still a huge faux pas (unless you're saying it to a female trans person lol, then you can go nuts). No wonder online trans"feminists" went postal about this.
