A weeklong level 1 certification workshop I will never forget at Suhaila's mothership in 2005~ I remember I didn't have the extra $35 or so to take the test lol what did i know then hee hee Our class had the honour of getting to meet and get to know Jamila Salimpour. I was so thrilled to ask her questions! She eagerly answer all of us and can tell she was also excited. The first question I asked her is what advice she could give me as an eager baby bellydancer. She said never stop learning and always stay a student, and when you start teaching, always keep learning. She told me she will always be a student till the day she dies. I asked her what her spirituality was, was dying to know! She told me lately she has been into Ganesha. Others asked questions and she had evening story times during the week after class and took extra classes with Suhaila's in the evening. How awesome! This was back in 2005. Just came across a couple pics, thought I lost them!
