i get that having six billion people on stage was annoying or whatever but i think just having bettman up there is even worse. at least give these kids the illusion that you see them as people and not a product. let them shake the damn hands, let them have the pomp and circumstance. their whole lives to this point has been about getting to this moment, let it be given the weight and acknowledgment it deserves.
