someone said "I'm not really a cat person" so I said "why don't you like cats?" and they said "I don't know I just like dogs more" so I said "why not like them both?" and they said "well I do like cats but they're just not my thing?" so I said "but you said you don't know when I asked why you didn't like cats so you don't like them" and they said "I think you're thinking too much into this" and im just wondering what the point of saying you don't like cats and like dogs more is when you can like both to begin with because now you made me think you didn't like cats and I was going to be very upset.
