Pack of the Echoing Mist

Founded by Grey Moon during a crescent winter moon on deciduous forest territory, after he was forced to leave his birth pack.

The wolves live in a cave system that the very first members - Grey Moon and Ivy Shade - dug underground. Tree's roots can be seen entwining on the domed ceiling, sheltering it's inhabitants from the elements and pretecting them whatever enemy they may have.

This night, under a full moon, Cedar Star drank he belladonna poultice prepared by Herbalist Nettle Claw and was deemed worthy by The Eternal to lead the Pack of the Echoing Mist.

Her father and former Alpha, Grey Moon, passed on his leadership to her and proclaimed her Cedar Moon.

This Fall, the Pack's first Beta, Ivy Shade, passed away at 7 years and 7 months.

During this winter, Stone Claw suffered and accident in a hunt and died from his wounds.

He left behind his mate, Coal Fur, and a pup, Nettle Claw.

During this spring, after living 7 years and 6 1/2 months, Hare Paw ascended to The Eternal's Pack.

When a wolf passes on, The Eternal collects their essence to go live with her and become part of Her Pack.

In the mortal plane, as their body no longer bears what makes them wolves, the Pack takes it to the edges of their territory, to be returned to the earth that the Goddess created - repaying the world for the life it once helped sustain.

The rank that the deceased was once a part of is in charge of taking it to the burial site, known as the Boneyard. There, the Herbalist professes some words of parting and prays for The Eternal to take care of their pack mate, as they can no longer care for their lost member.
