Alright, here we go!

🌫 Rainy skies are best conquered with homemade cinnamon rolls and books 📚 Hope everyone is staying warm and cozy this October 🍂

Went to campus yesterday to get some books from the library. It felt so strange and empty, but the uni definitely gives of some proper autumn vibes ✨ Time to make myself a cup of tea and start working on midterm assessment 📑

One of my latest challenges is to actually find time to read what I want to rather than all the books and articles that I ~should~ be reading... I have to keep reminding myself that it’s all about balance and that I can study and have a life at the same time!

Early morning latin seminar requires a good breakfast to get me out of bed! ✨ And some vitamin C to help me get through the rainy scottish autumn 🍁

Also, it’s my birthday tomorrow and I am kind of excited but also keep forgetting about it...

One of three sonnets I have written for my friend’s birthday ✨ It’s not very good, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

I can’t wait to go back to uni and to my new flat, but I am also trying to enjoy every minute of summer holiday, because I know I’ll miss the warm days and boredom dearly once semester begins 📚

Firstly, sorry for the lack of content in the past, well, year. Truth be told, my dorm roomwas not particularly aesthetic and it was quite difficult to make studying look pretty (it was super interesting though). And with everything going on at the moment, I’ve spent the past couple of months reading in our cottage in the countryside (or in the garden thereof). In an attempt not to get too detached from reality, I have gobbled up Hans Rosling’s “Factfulness” aaand - everyone should read it, now! It has changed the way I see the world for the better 🤍🌿
