My Chocolate Desires

In 1799, a young Conrad Reed found a 17-pound shiny rock while playing at a creek on his family farm in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He and his family kept it as a doorstop until 1802. His father John Reed took the rock to a jeweler who recognized it as gold and bought it from the unaware Reed for $3.50 (a week’s wages for farm labor back then.) A year later Peter, one of the slaves held by the Reed family, found a 28-pound nugget of gold on the property. John Reed then started underground mining on his property and became a wealthy man.

So I feel like my choices are

1. Move to another country.

2. Stay and liveout my life knowing I’ll always be in this war on race. & that white people will always have their privelage.

Being born a boy or a girl is NOT a CHOICE which we have control over.

Being born with black, blonde, brown, red or whatever color hair Is NOT a CHOICE which we have control over.

Being born with one or two arms and legs, or three or none for that matter Is NOT a CHOICE which we have control over.

If you'll notice, this small list are things which every human being on the planet - ever born - did not, when they were born, have any control whatsoever over.

Another thing that every single human being ever born, be they german, asian, black, hispanic and any other ethnicity you wanna throw in the hat since the dawn of time, had, has, and always will have in common, Is that we are ALL born loving one another.

Without hate. No hate, No anger, No labeling, No fighting, No killing.

Just love for the next person.

Hate and anger and labeling are things that are TAUGHT. Taught by those who are not strong enough Not courageous enough And most importantly not WILLING to NOT teach the next generation how to hate.

That's a very difficult task. Choosing to recognize the negativity and cut that cancer from our lives.

If nobody makes an effort nothing will ever change. The hate will always be there.

CHOOSE NOT TO HATE! CHOOSE TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN HOW NOT TO HATE!

CHOOSE TO MAKE OUR WORLD A BETTER PLACE!
