Quick trip back to the Red River Gorge with some of the lads. I red-pointed 2 5.12a’s (Ro Shampo and Primus Noctum) and flashed another (Check Your Grip) then I gave a solid one hang burn on my 5.12c mini project (Cell Block Six). All in all a successful and fun trip.

Went back to Malibu Creek State ark with Arash and Louise. First time back there in over a year and first time climbing outdoors in a long while. Twas a good old session filled with lots of “try hard”. Projected two 12a’s and got them down to one-hangs but no send. Also tried “Ghetto blaster” (pictured above) for shits and giggles. Fun times.

First time in Oregon and sample some of Smith Rock classic rock climbs with the lads.

Gentleman in the streets but a freak in the gym. Big holds, big moves, power and compressions are the jam.

This time last year in Brazil, escaping the throes of singles awareness day. This country is full of passion, from the Serra de Cipo (viney mountains) in Minas Gerais to warm nights on Rio's Copacabana beach. Nostalgia's got me thinking what adventures 2016 will bring 😆.

Once upon a time in The Red a couple California boys came thru looking to regulate fools and rip sh*t up but ended up getting shown a vastly bigger and humbling climbing world. Undaunted, the homies rode on to forge some great friendships and memories. Circa 2011.
