Crosshair was never one to stay in line. Especially as a kid. If you told him the sky was blue he would say it was green. His naturally confronting and unyielding personality led him to constantly get in trouble. Either with the Kaminoans or fellow cadets.

He would be sent to solitary confinement on the worse days. Typically for a couple days, but once he hit a Long neck protecting his brothers, he was sent away for weeks. He was too valuable to simply decommission. Though he came close a couple times.

Tech

HUNTER: we're waiting for you!

Hunter: What am I supposed to do?!

Crosshair: Give up.

Hunter: Not that! How am I supposed to be a father?

Hunter Junior: *babbles incoherently*

Hunter Junior: *proceeds to draw him as a tooka*

*fierce scribbling ensues*
