Clone wars AU where Fox accidentally kills Palpatine during order 66 (Jedi, sith, same thing)
Now, all the Jedi are dead and so is the chancellor, and the senate are all very concerned now that they’ve figured out that the ‘perfectly nice guy in charge’ was actually committing so many war crimes, so they decide Fox is a war hero and the new chancellor.
Fox has no idea what a reasonable workload looks like, so the clones have to make Cody his second in command.
Fox: alright, that paperwork needs to be done, so you’ll be working a 48 hour shift
Cody: that’s a human rights violation sir
Fox: when I was working under palpatine, I once worked four days in a row without sleep!
Cody: that’s a human rights violation sir.
Fox: Shit.
Cody: when was the last time you slept?
