She used to lay in his arms, as if it were her home; but now she lays alone. She looked at him and said she saw the stars and the moon in his eyes, yet he silently looked at her, and saw only the ground. He spoke of empty promises, Meaningless “I love you’s” Though she never said love, but her love spoke, for it simply showed. It showed when she would wait hours upon hours, just to receive one text. It showed when she’d drive to one town away, just to see his face and feel his warmer embrace. It showed when she’d send endless messages, asking about him and his well-being, just to get no reply. She waited for the times he said he loved and cared for her yet little did she know, all those words were lies.

I guess whenever I love someone too much,I put meaning into everything they do. For my heart desperately wants them to say “I love you too,”.
