i drew this just yesterday and then I saw @mlhmoo concept of sick human Zim AU. Those are wonders :D

But I think about it in a more darker way. 

Like Dib was cruel at Zim all his childhood bcs he had hallutinations about Zim being an alien when Zim actually was just a weird sick kid with skin condition and lot's of allergies. 

Zim's parents are also wierd freaks treating him and Gir like shit, doing all wrong and acting inadequately. Gir sick with mental illnes.

Zim had to have an eye on his whole weird family to avoid problems with police and social services, also he had to watch his health himself.  And there is Dib turning his schooltime at survival game. 

Crossover with SU scene where Peridot was trying to apologize to Lapis by giving her tape recorder as a gift. 

Zim does his best to protect the base and his master at least. I think Gir try to make friends with Dib but he fails every time because of Zim. And since Gir is school’s favorite (I think he is bacause of issue #26) it’s hard to mess with him at schooltime.Gir also not really interested on concuering of the Earth so Dib doesn’t have to fight him often. But when Gir recalls his mission he does everything reluctantly and searching for peaceful/funniest ways to dominate the Earth. At the same time Zim ruins all peaceful plans by his craving for destruction and violence. He’s still a big problem for everyone inkluding Dib.
