Sukhothai was cool. Felt like that kid who knew his way around Florence because of Assassin's Creed, only for that Indiana Jones game. There really are that many crouch hiding spots. Biking around the sites was a highlight, even in the heat and humidity.
The Loy Krathong Festival is happening now, which is what I'm going up to Chiang Mai for tomorrow, but it was cool to see Sukhothai's since the legend says it first started here. I won a game of chicken with my stomach after the street food - need to save those Alka Seltzers for when we really need it.
Lot of wild dogs here. Most are friendly, or at least indifferent, but I'm keeping my distance to be safe.
The bus leaves tomorrow morning at 11, giving me time to check out and grab a snack from 7/11. I'm glad I made the detour but happy to be moving on - it's beautiful here but very secluded. I need more stuff to do and see.
