Eating While Single

A classic. Peanut butter and sour cream and onion chip sandwich. Because when ya single, you can still eat like a 7 year old and no one is around to judge you. No partner, no problem.

Fan submission. But, like, this is kinda the perfect eating while single combo. She doing it right!

I don't even know, man. Fried things and sauces and bread. Single life.

*submission from follower* uuuhhhmmmm…what even will this be, I wonder? This might be my favorite single person mystery meal thus far. What we do know: corn tortillas, a can of hormel chili (hilarious), and a cucumber. What we don’t know: how these ingredients combine to make a meal. Did the chili and cucumber just go in a tortilla? Was the cucumber a side dish, and the tortilla was dipped in the chili? Such a mystery. Well, there’s one more thing we know for certain, whatever this meal turned out to be, it was washed down with an ice cold high life, which should probably be the official #EatingWhileSingle beer. It’s just too perfect.

Today's lunch at 3pm: two hard boiled eggs, tomato slices, expired spinach tortilla ripped up, 3 sliced off chunks of cream cheese. Whatever I bet it's gonna be delicious.

Because sometimes you need the single person version of fancy people food. Which means wheat crackers, sliced tomato with some thyme sprinkled on, and mozzarella. It's almost good. Almost.

Sad single person meal #1: I work at a grocery store, so I get a lot of expired food, much of which does not actually go well together for creating a recipe. You might think that by working in a grocery store that I'd be doing more shopping around some of the free and expired food I get, but you'd be wrong. Instead, I end up with foods from different styles of cuisine that I try to throw together. Like the food pictured here. The details: -Expired pad see ew noodles that required blanching, so I decided to put them in a bowl filled with water and microwave them for 2 minutes instead. -a jar of pasta sauce -expired frozen eggplant cutlets pan-fried in olive oil. Seriously, it was really gross. But I ate it. Twice.
