Guess who just finished Flightless Bird for the first time! (Almost threw up)

Something that I feel gets overlooked in the whole modern day mental health system, is the argument of “ oh, they’re just doing it for attention.” Overall just a horrible thing to say, but what if they were? Is that not a sign of something that’s wrong? That this very clearly troubled person is willing to go to these self destructive lengths for just a little bit of attention? Attention is defined as so many things, one of which being needing help. Which is a really really hard thing to ask for.

Sometimes i find myself questioning why I’m here. What the reason is for all of it. So I tell myself to just ask myself that question when I’m happy to see if it makes a difference. I go out to my favorite place and I sit on the cliff tops and just breathe. I enjoy myself for hours and by the time I get home I realize, oh shit I forgot to ask myself.

She’s a breath of fresh air, sure. We’ve all heard that one before.
