It's completely hilarious to me, I think Nolan might have a heart attack if he found out people think he's anti-vax, even just as Mark's totally normal human dad. Mark absolutely has horrendous vibes at school you know, people must always get the sense that he's lying all the time, but it must seem like it's about mundane things and not, "my dad is an abusive space alien whose card declines at BurgerMart, aka Omni-man the most powerful person on the planet". Well, at least there's William.

Hmmmm I'm sure there are? It's been a while since I've worked on lizard tail tbh (i apologize 😅), so nothing specifically is coming to mind.. Most of those little "facts" are written down in various places (I've got the main document and then some sandwich bags lol), all hopefully to end up in the story, even as just a one-liner or something.

Dont get me wrong, your writing is AMAZING and captures the complicated-awkward relationship between Mark and Nolan PERFECTLY 🤌🤌

Hmm.. I can’t really answer that? It’s up to each person to decide what kinds of affection are equal. Can anyone ‘deserve’ love? Can it be earned, or do you have to accept it? To love and be loved is not up to anyone—this might be what Nolan doesn’t understand, that emotions are non consensual. He knows that it exists, but what is the biological reason for it? To bond organisms together when each other’s influence is beneficial to their survival? For example, Nolan feeds Mark every night and provides shelter—maybe for animals, this is love. Maybe for these two, this is love.

Tl;dr: I doooon’t remember either 😅 I think it’s something I wanted to work on more, showing more instances of them getting along.

If your open to discussing more lore on Mark raised by single dad Nolan, would you think him as the type to shave Mark bald?

Like maybe the obvious answer would be that he would reel back the hero duties and take care of Mark but do you think Nolan gets flashbacks from the scourge virus?

Also, like, with how paranoid he is with the windows/GDA is Mark updated with his vaccinations and healthcheck (lol)

He hears in passing that chicken noodle soup is good and brings only that home for dinner. Although, Mark doesn't get sick a lot.

I'll be honest, I'm basically completely spoiled for the comic but I haven't actually read it, and I'm waiting for season 4 to come out in its entirety before watching, sooo I don't precisely know what's going on with Nolan's feelings towards the virus. (If that's been touched on yet?) But I'd say he saw Debbie get sick enough times to not panic or anything.

I cannoooot remember my original position on this 😭😭 I'm leaning towards Mark being vaccinated during childhood and then once he becomes invulnerable he sort of takes over that kind of paperwork? Like, schools need immunization records but Mark already handles a lot of parental signature stuff without ever informing Nolan, so he just has "Nolan" file as a conscientious objector lmfaoo. I don't think this is in the story, but Mark either has complete access to Nolan's email or has a fake one with Nolan's name on it 💀
