She suffered kidney condition as a child because she constantly ate pancit canton, junk food, and fast food. As a result, in recent years, she has stopped eating fast food and other unhealthy products. It happened, she's always been in the hospital, and she's been there a month since the disease worsened.
Her doctor in our region has stated it would be preferable if she were transferred to Manila and checked herself at a kidney hospital and locate a doctor there since her doctor has difficulty with us because her disease worsens. And when they got a doctor and brought her to the hospital, her health somewhat improved, and the doctor recommended that she try using herbs.
And after a year, her disease worsened because her studies were stressful, and she could not be stressed. The doctor recommended that she cease studying for at least a year to recover. And we were sad for her because she wanted to be a doctor, but she couldn't be a doctor in this instance, and she had to overthink when she quit her studies because she felt that she wasn't able to study, and we learned that's because she opened up to us what she felt.
After one year, she studied Medicine again. She worsened throughout her two years of education since she usually woke up and stressed till midnight and yet experienced a qualification-honor comparison. And the doctor informed the family to be ready before a pandemic because it would be kidney transplantation if they didn't want her to have dialysis.
She couldn't have a checkup in Manila for a year since there was a pandemic. And since she did not check up, and when we went for a break, my cousin and I swam, we observed that she is pale and sluggish.
And she was harmed even though she was not hit and gets worse, and she had several bruises. And then she couldn't stand since her body was getting weaker after our brief vacations, and she didn't have any more interactions with us. Our family observed everything and ordered her parents to go to a laboratory to check up on her, and it turned out that her hemoglobin is very low. Then they got her in the hospital and need to have a blood donor to have normal hemoglobin.
The physician said that she needs emergency dialysis, which she was afraid she didn't want. However, the doctor told her that if she disagreed, she would pass away, and her cousin is worried we might lose her, so we always massage her via messenger. She questioned what she wanted to eat. She responded spaghetti before the emergency dialysis since it was her favorite food, and we sobbed in happiness because she could eat spaghetti again after fifteen years.
And she came home after a week, however. She goes to dialysis hospital every three times a week since she needs it. And so far, we hoped that we could find a donor and that they would match. So she can continue her studies because, for the second time, she halted. And since she fought and she was strong, we are proud of her.
