Pulled all this fluff off her butt just with my HANDS. I feel like I'm in an endless battle with her coat, lately I've been brushing her almost daily but it's tricky- she gets overstimulated so I can't just get it over in one go. And no brush seems to be quite right, every different brush i use is getting more fur that the others didn't. I've used a slicker brush, a fine comb, a undercoat rake, even a furminator and the dogs rubber brush! Then I pull this out with my HANDS! She also has a habit of ripping out her own stuck shed (particularly from her chest/belly that is very hard for me to brush). Then getting it stuck on her tongue. We just brushed another dogs worth of fur off Earl this weekend as well. I'm half tempted to shave all the animals.

Slicker brush today.

Starting to feel more confident in my original classification of her as a domestic medium hair, not long hair.

Starting to feel like I have more stuck shed than cat.

This was largely from her tail. I realized while bribing her with spray cheese to be brushed that I have been missing the opportunity of just brushing her at her meals.

Shaving her is still not off the table imo

This was brushing in the wrong direction with the under coat rake (didn't have to cut anything, scissors are from cutting open the frozen churu bribe)

Usually Earl doesn't love fireworks, he isn't terrible about it but he usually just trys to lay on top of you and sometimes shakes. When he's shaking we try to give traz to take the edge off. This year though he's just decided to be pissed off about the fireworks. Evedy time he hears them he starts grumbling and trots around huffing and annoyed about the sound.

June Bug seems largely unaffected. Sometimes she will look around after particularly loud ones but is overall not bothered.

Of course the dog is paid! It's a piecework job. He gets paid (likely a high value treat but could be play with a high value toy) every time he finds a truffle!
