It’s nearly 5am and I haven’t been able to sleep for a few hours. I tried meditating with Headspace and listening to Brain.fm but they weren’t working so I decided to make the best of my time awake and plan out the rest of my week this week. I didn’t get a chance to do my usual weekly review since I was out of town spending time with my family for the Thanksgiving Holiday. That’s no excuse but I did fall out of my routine since I was gone for the weekend. I’d like to get some sleep since I know much getting enough sleep affects more performance and my mood the following day but I’ve been trying to work on being more mindful of what my body is telling me like when it’s tired and when it’s not. I might need to experiment with taking a break from drinking since I think it’s affecting my sleep. I’ll let you know how the experiment goes.

I’ve decided to start sharing my thoughts and feelings here in my Tumblr as I work on figuring out this thing called life. I don’t want make a big deal out of it but I want to create the habit of getting my thoughts out of my head. And maybe, just maybe, I might be able to share some of the lessons I’ve had to learn the hard way.
