And I still believe the only "right" ending is Vincent killing Leo at the end. Sure, Leo is a great character and had a massive character development while being with Vincent, but at the end of the day, Linda said it herself.

This was the life they chose. Superficial Leo is still a criminal. Vincent, on the other hand, had way more passive decisions throughout the game. While he was doing his job, Leo was more on the side of "I do what's best for me and my family," getting revenge on the person that betrayed him.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve any empathy, but I've seen many people say Leo's death was the "bad ending," which I honestly don't believe. Vincent even gave him the opportunity to surrender, but Leo was stubborn and blinded by the feeling of being betrayed AGAIN by a person he trusted. (Rightfully so)

Either way, I guess there isn't really a wrong or right ending. From what I've read so far, I loved all the perspectives. I just thought I'd share mine! :)

I couldn't get the ending of Resident Evil 8 Village out of my head. Seeing Ethan getting dragged by Chris losing his strength; and Chris trying to get him to move gave me the shivers.

Even tho I do not agree with Chris not including Ethan to his plans at first, I can never hate him. He really tried to make up for it at the end, without success unfortunately.

Soap's diary; days November 9th & 12th.

-November 9th.-

We still haven't quite figured out what we are all doing here. No one really remembers their lives before we woke up in this place. Our only objective was 'survive'. At least Ghost and Dream are starting to get along a bit better after the first incident they had.

Dream still hasn't left George's side by the bed. Since he got bit by what Dream calls "Phantoms," he has been checking on him hourly to make sure he's okay. To me, it seems like those creatures use some kind of poison to make you fall asleep. I still hope George wakes up soon. We could use some extra hands.

-November 12th.-

The snow hasn't melted yet, but surprisingly, Ghost and Drean agreed to search for food and resources outside. I'm staying at base, keeping an eye on George. I promised Dream I'll keep him safe as long as he's gone. Right now, I'm not sure if he's ever gonna wake up again. Dream says otherwise.. let's hope he's right.

The sun is setting, and I haven't heard from Dream nor Ghost yet. There was a strange light at the horizon, tho. Right behind the snowy mountains. It was insanely bright! I'm sure they noticed, too. I just hope Ghost and Dream aren't getting any silly ideas.

It seems dangerous.

Disclaimer: This is completely made up and just for fun! Nothing that gets mentioned here is real nor somewhat meant to be realistic. This is also very roughly written down, so things might change later.

Before players get onto the PvP Map, the console teleports them into the control room, where they're trapped in small tubes with both teams separated from each other. The tubes work like how you'd imagine a normal teleport in Minecraft. The mechanic used by the tubes to teleport players across the map is called "blink".

It gives new players, as well as XD, the opportunity to meet each other before fighting to their deaths.

From here on, XD decides when they start and how long they stay in the arena.

Let me introduce you to the Wavelength Lightseers of Common Ground!

This is as original as it's gonna get.

In the first part, I explained how the chessboard works a certain way only some characters can observe it. The light that the chessboard and all of the technology in the control room gives off is somewhere below the range 400 nm¹, which means they're high frequency/short wavelengths.

(Visible light spans are usually defined as having wavelengths in the range of 400–700 nm.)

However, DreamXD's & Dream's masks slow those wavelengths down so they're able to see the light in the control room perfectly fine. Which makes them both the only one's on the map being able to use the console at all.
