Karma is a bitch.
âFinally this is happeningâ Amanda thought to herself as she fished out the left overs from last night for her sister who came to visit and who is currently at the living room binge watching the season 2 of gossip girls.
âIâd get all of fatherâs properties to myselfâ she smiled as the poured unmeasured volume of sniper insecticide into a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice that should go with the meal.
This was the perfect time to execute her plans, Annie, her daughter, isnât coming home early today, she hangs out with daisy every Thursday evenings and Derrick her husband, is on a business trip and wouldnât be back till Sunday.
âHere you goâ she dropped the food in front of her sister and headed towards the stairs.
âUrsula,If you need me, Iâd be at the back, doing some laundryâ she said and walked away but not without looking back at her sister who totally ignored her but focused of the movie she was watching.
10mins later, Ursula remembered she had food in front of her and she was ready to devour it but was interrupted buy a call from her boss.
Screw you Bozeman
She picked.
He told her that she is needed in the office in 5 minutes because a potential big client.
She was sad that she couldnât eat her meal, it was her favorite dish.
She called out for her sister several times but she guessed her sister was on ear plugs so she headed for the door and was greeted by her 12year old niece,Annie that just returned from middle school. They exchanged pleasantries but Ursula didnât have the time to stay for a chic chat, so she gave her a peck on her forehead and she left.
Annie walked into the living room and found the food uneaten, she was too thirsty to go to the kitchen to get water so she decided to gulp the orange juice, just then, Amanda her mother walked in.
With a shocked expression she asked âwhereâs Ursula?â
âShe left in a hurry, she said something like she had an appointment with a potential client and if she didnât leave she would be fired or something like thatâ Annie shrugged.
She looked at Amandaâs shocked expression âwhat?!â
âD-Did you d-drink f-from that c-cup?â She asked trembling slightly.
âWell yeah...I was thirsty so I had to drink it, why?â She asked sensing that her mom was panicking.
âDo you feel weird or something?â She asked her daughter
âNo..Mum whatâs happening, why are you so t-â she was cut of by a strange feeling of pain that she screamed
Amanda panicked and tried to help, but remembered she didnât know an antidote âAnnie was not supposed to be back till eveningâ she thought to her self as she ran around the house searching for what could possibly be the antidote.
Annieâs screams rang all over the place that it brought her back to her senses to probably call 911 or check google for an antidote.
She quickly rushed to the laundry room to get her phone but noticed Annie became suspiciously quiet.
She ran towards the living room to find Annie in a pool of her own blood.
It was too late.
Annie was dead because of her selfish reasons
Indeed karma is a bitch.
