Dyspraxic Panda

Uh I don't actually know if I have dyspraxia I haven't been diagnosed with it but what I've read people here complain about similar things I go trough daily like running into things even when I try my best to avoid it. However my mom insists that it can't be because I wasn't diagnosed as a child but what I've read people in my home country seem to combine coordination difficulties with SPD and with that combination I've been diagnosed so I'm very very confused. I don't know what I have?

I have to tell you this. after looking at some your memes while walking down the stairs I shut of my iPad halfway and FELL down the rest of them and I thought self diagnoses right there

Fun little story: I'm volunteering at a zoo in a walk through lemur enclosure which basically means I have to moniter, talk to guests, keep the place clean. Yesterday (Thursday) one of my jobs was picking up fallen/rotten apples as there's fruit tress in there and getting them into a bin, so I thought 'right I'll throw them in there' and it was at a 'And this is a short distance so surely I can do it' Nope, most of my attempts lead in an overshot or undershot of the bin

Trouble thinking inside the box

Hi pandas, I don't know if anyone else has trouble using knives for cooking -- I always worry that they will slip and I'll get cut. Anyway, one thing I recently realized is that a lot of the knives I was trying to use are too big. They feel unbalanced and too long in my hand. If I use a lighter, shorter knife when I'm chopping food, I seem to be able to do it easier. I don't know if that helps anyone but I wanted to share. :)

I was having a meltdown and came onto tumblr to look up depressing stuff because I like to fight fire with fire because I'm a dumb shit. But I typed in dyspraxia because I've known I'm dyspraxic for quite some time but never really knew what it was, and reading through this blog was seriously so great for my mind right now. I'm now listening to SimplyNoise and just reading your memes and posts, and I feel a lot better. So thank you, you're amazing for running this blog, a million times thank you

To the anon about shoelaces: I have elastic shoelaces. I tie them, double knot, then I have slip-ons for the next few weeks until they come undone again. :)
