“Hm. Food, probably!”

“Heehee… sorry. Um, I have a rough idea? But, well… nothing certain yet. Why don’t we go inside and take a look at the menu?”

“Well, you’d best study up on them. …And I know you, you probably thought the safety gear looked dumb and just didn’t want to put it on.”

“Mm. Well, anyway, yeah, we can do that. I’d say we could do that right now, but um…”

A quiet growl from her stomach finished her sentence for her. Man, she was hungry.”

“Well it does look dumb...”Whitney sulked. She didn’t want to study. She was a Gym Leader, gosh darn it. She shouldn’t have to study...

Blink, blink. There were at least two things wrong with this picture.

“Okay, hold on. First of all, what do you mean, ‘something about safety regulations’? It’s part of your job to keep up on those! And secondly… why did you get kicked out of your own Gym?”

Jasmine let out a sigh, and rubbed the bridge of her nose, before shaking her head and giving Whitney a little smile.

“Eh… it’ll get done, anyway, so there’s no need for me to worry about that. As for your team, that’s good. Hm, maybe someday we can battle?”

As long as Whitney didn’t cry if she lost. She hated watching her cry.

“It’s not my fault I don’t know all of this company’s rules! I haven’t renovated my gym since I was fourteen, and then it was my uncle who did everythiiiiing,”Whitney whined, flopping her head on the table,”Stupid fairy types...”

“Oh, hello there. Mm, you’re early. But, that’s fine… I, uh… I was kinda hungry anyway!”

“As for what I’ve been doing… well, you know, about the usual. Been keeping busy with the Gym, and the Keeper stuff. Other than that… well, I caught a Klink fairly recently! And, um… well, that’s about it for noteworthy stuff… not much happens in Olivine, you know. But what about you?”

“That’s cool! You should introduce me to your Klink later!” She responded.

”Well, I’ve been kicked out of my Gym for renovations...Something about safety regulations,”She pouted,”But I’ve been able to take on challengers in the Pokeathlon dome when the Pokeathlon isn’t happening, so...At least people can still challenge me. I’m also accepting challenges on the street if they run into me there. It’s not ideal, but it’s the best I can do for now.”
