REGAN: No, they totally hate us. Like they're all super old and I'm pretty sure all they want to do is retire. I'm pretty sure they could care less what we do as long as it means they get a paycheck.

REGAN: No, but you didn't exactly react well.

DYLAN: "Super old", ha! Probably better to have older professors though because they know their stuff a bit more. Like, I love working with older actors in particular because they have so much more wise advice for me.

Mercy: Well how about after our date I will sti by the phone and wait for you to call and we can, for a minute feel like they did back then? I would suggest we have a no phone rule on our date, but incase of an emergency I have to have it at least on, so maybe just a no phone out in the open rule.

Mercy: There is nothing wrong with wanting to be Bond he was and still is to this day a badass. I wanted to be a singer, but I knew singing wouldn't take care of my mom if I didn't get anywhere.

Dylan: That sounds interesting, why not? Yeah, we could try it. I'm totally game for the no phone in the open rule. I usually do that when I meet up with friends and that anyway. No point meeting people if you would rather look at a screen. Unless it's an emergency or something important, of course.

BLAINE: I try not to be. There's enough hurtful behavior out there in the world already, I'd rather leave things - and people - a little better than I found them, instead of vice versa.

BLAINE: Ha - I believe you. One of these days I'm going to have to coax a story or two out of you. It took a while to get to that point, but I'm happier because of it.

BLAINE: Oh my god - if you get cast as a Bond villain, I will absolutely write you the most villainous, too-cool-for-rules theme song I can, how's that for motivation? 😂

DYLAN: That's wonderful to hear, Blaine. We need more people like you, especially in Hollywood. You could do a world of good, buddy.

DYLAN: Ha! Some stories wouldn't need much coaxing, others yes lol.

Azriel: No, don't apologize! Never apologize to somebody for being passionate. It means you care and are invested in something. It's not something to be sorry for. That's the teacher in me coming out, oops. It's nice to know there are still actors out their who value their roles and take them seriously, vs. seeing them as just another paycheck. I'm impressed.

DAVLIN: I just didn't want to sound like a pretentious asshole who thinks he has a grasp on what you're going through whenever I might've missed the head of the nail so far that I ended up breaking my foot with the hammer. You follow?

DAVLIN: Oh, I'll try you. You're just lucky you're over the phone and not in person. You wouldn't stand a chance. This is just going to make me work harder. Blaine's opinions always matter to me and I don't mind fishing for them. 😈

DAVLIN: No, no. Not bad at all. They're dates I wouldn't have had with people I wouldn't have met if it wasn't for Wink.

DAVLIN: I don't mind you asking. I have a question first though. Have you ever had a long term relationship?

DYLAN: You didn't sound like a pretentious asshole to me. I promise you that. Don't panic.

DYLAN: Seriously dude I don't even think he really said much of his opinion of you. I can't remember anyway. But keep trying if that's what you want. Good luck though ;)

DYLAN: Glad to hear you're seeing the positives.

Alexis: I will, for sure. I'll be keeping my out for that one as well.

Alexis: Of course. I've been a fan of your work. You're an excellent actor. If you weren't, I don't think you'd be getting the work you're getting.

Dylan: Yay for the mutual support!

Dylan: Well, thanks for that, Alexis.

Dylan: Hey! Do you ever wanna maybe go for a drink?

Andrea: Andie, please for the love of everything call me Andie.

Andrea: I'm peachy. Can't complain either. Life's good.

Dylan: Andie, got it. Sorry.

Dylan: That's fantastic to hear.

MITCHELL: Do not worry. I did enjoy the movie, even though it isn't something I would have picked out myself. Have you had any luck so far finding someone who is willing to cook for you?

REGAN: While I'm sure there are some teachers and other professions where people feel that way, most usually don't. All my professors seem like they hate us so I really can't see anyone wanting to look up to them. There's something widely appealing about everyone knowing your name and making a ton of money from it.

REGAN: Are you all that upset about it?

DYLAN: I would hope they don't hate you, or anyone else in the class for that matter. Perhaps they just like to keep the distance and boundaries clear, and like to assert their authority. I don't know. I hope that at least.

Mercy: Right! You would meet up and have fun then go home and wait by the phone, they didn't have caller ID or voicemail so you didn't if call people just thought they missed your call. It really does sound romantic doesn't it?

Mercy: I would be honored to be your date. I am sure, the more I talk to you the more I will be excited for this date. I will make sure to switch shifts to make sure I am free.

Mercy: Okay so now that the date has been made lets really get to talking. Tell me what you wanted to be when you were younger? Was it and actor?

Dylan: Exactly. It sounds so simple and romantic, though perhaps that's how we glorify it nowadays. Perhaps it was as awkward and weird at the time as this all is for us.

Dylan: Woo okay. It's a plan then, a plan for a date ha! That sounds weird but you know what I mean.

REGAN: There's nothing wrong with that.

REGAN: No one wants to idolize their teachers or whatever boring profession out there. It's way more fun to look up to someone who is famous and super hot.

REGAN: Is that a bad thing?

DYLAN: It's complicated, I know. I just think we're too fixated on celebrity culture and I would love for kids to have ambitions that different focus on just getting attention or being rich, because those things mean nothing. They never seem to make people happy. I'm not happy because I'm rich, I'm happy because I do what I love. I'd feel pretty much the same if I was in a local theatre production, except it's fantastic to know a wide audience has seen the work.

DAVLIN: Fine. But if I start making an ass out of myself, I'm going to shut up.

DAVLIN: I think people just naturally put celebrities on a pedestal that's, quite frankly, not possible or fair to expect any human being to live up to. They consider themselves "different from" famous people. Like they're just a notch lower on the social/having a life meter. I don't think they think someone in your profession who is successful would be on an app like this. You'd be too busy with people banging down the door to hang out with you. In their heads. You know? So.. They, automatically, chalk you up into someone who is pretending.

DAVLIN: Yep. Definitely shutting myself up.

DAVLIN: Listen. You've resisted journalists..but you haven't resisted me or the power of my persuasion if I really put my mind to it. 😜

DAVLIN: Romance? Oh boy. I've had a few dates here and there. Made some new friends along the way. Not the greatest at the whole romance thing..

DAVLIN: How about you?

DYLAN: Why did you shut yourself up? That was fantastically written and very true. You hit the nail right on the head, dude. You really did. Have a bit more faith in your opinions, please, cause you're ace.

DYLAN: Oh okay, if you say so mister. Try me ;)

Alexis: Thank you, I really appreciate that. Are you currently working on anything?

Alexis: Your last project was amazing by the way.

Dylan: Anytime. Keep me updated cause I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, another movie. Can't really say much but it's cool. Very cool.

BLAINE: It does, mostly because it's not the sort of thing I'd ever ASK you to do. It would feel too much like taking advantage, or treating you like your connections are all that matter, instead of as a living, breathing person.

BLAINE: Listen to you - you sound awfully wise for a hot shot Hollywood actor! 😉 That's pretty much how I'm trying to approach it, though. Process and learn, but don't let it fester anymore.

BLAINE: YES! Ex-CIA agent gone rogue, or megomaniacal tech company CEO with a god complex? I could see either, honestly, 😜

DYLAN: I believe you wouldn't ever use me. I can tell the kind of person you are, and it's not that. So don't ever worry about me thinking that.

DYLAN: I've seen a few things in my time, even though I'm young 😉 Glad to hear that's how you're approaching it though. I think it's best.

Crystal: It makes sense to me. Hopefully, you'll get to know more of the people on here, on a more personal level.

Crystal: Oh, trust me, I'm not expert. Still haven't landed a date or have had any substantial friendships, so I'm probably doing something wrong. And plus, E-harmony said there are no matches for me, and that really bruised my ego a bit. So,I may need some tips from you.

Dylan: I hope so. How are you finding the people you've matched with, so far?

Mercy: No need to apologize. Lol right! I feel so out of touch, there are so many ways to connect and hook up and I am just like blah... if that makes any sense. I like knowing I have someone around me who knows how I feel. We both just wanna try to find somehting we are missing. I don't know I think this is like a predate or something.

Mercy: See I think I am, but I have no idea what I am doing but yeah I mean I think we would have some fun.

Dylan: No, I get you, I can relate. It's such a struggle in the 21st century. People like our grandparents generation just met at the weekly dance or wherever, and it sounds so romantic, compared to everyone meeting on apps now.

SAM: I'm happy with everyone that wants to join, it's not a huge choir, last year we barely made the required amount of members you got to have, but now... double in size so happy Sammy! I can really see them make it all the way to Nationals this year.

SAM: Awww, that poor Han Solo cap. Doomed to spend all that time in a closet patiently waiting for someone to wear it. But totally understandable.

DYLAN: Okay, I get ya. It's so fantastic to hear you've doubled the choir this year. Clearly the arts is doing okay, currently. Nationals sounds like a fantastic opportunity and challenge for you. I really hope you make it - I'm rooting for you guys.
