The longest con ever was Disney starting the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and selling the team to the Samuelis only for them to immediately change the name. Disney got their revenge by buying the rights to air the league’s content and one of their employees immediately calls them the Mighty Ducks again? The Mouse is a vengeful god

Seattle making no trades prior to the expansion draft means that it’s going to be chaos starting tomorrow.

Ron Francis said… they weren’t allowed to?!?! The NHL tanked its own expansion draft by giving too much lag time between the time Seattle had to finalize their picks and the time the draft had to occur and then simultaneously not allowing the side deals to be announced at the draft. Like they could’ve still told those players they brought to Seattle but why did the league need 12 hours for a list of names
