But, it tastes sooo good.

Mer kissed Dylan back without hesitating and smiled as she pulled away. She blushed as he complimented her and looked down shyly. “Aw, Dylan,” she said as she hugged him again. They started walking out of the park and to who-knows-where now.

As they headed out of the park, Dylan put his arm around Mer's neck again. Once they got to the car, they both got in and drove off. The last place they were going to was an amusement park. Dylan loves going to amusement parks every once in awhile, he wanted to share the fun with his new girlfriend. The amusement park was a little far from where the restaurant was at. When they finally got there, he stepped out of the car and opened the door for Mer. "I hope you like amusement parks", Dylan said while smiling. He took Mers hand and led her to the front entrance.

As Mer nodded in response, she jumped onto him and hugged him tightly, Dylan laughed and spun her around for a few seconds, being more happy than ever. He looked at Mer and said, "Now I can give you an actual kiss". Still holding onto Mer, he leaned into kiss her, feeling himself blush. As they kissed, he could feel the sunshining on them as if they were in the spotlight. When he pulled away after a minute, he looked into Mer's eyes, "You're beautiful and amazing, you know that right ?", he asked her with a smile.

Dylans smile grew wider as Mer replied. He didn't have to speak to ask this question. Instead he turned around, as a big banner that was being hung by the tree, dropped down and read, "Will you be my girlfriend, Mer ?" in big, bold letters. He then turned around to face Mer and asked her himself, "Will you ?", his heart started beating fast as he waited for a response from her.

"Yep," she replied. She stood up and stretched a little, then started walking out of the restaurant. As she started walking back out, she walked close to Dylan, the same pace he was walking. She wrapped her arms around him, still walking. So far, the date went great.

Dylan put his arm around Mers neck, as she wrapped her arms around him. "Want to walk to the next place ?", he asked her, looking down at Mer. "It's actually really close by", he told her. When he saw her nod, he smiled. They walked together over to a not to small, but not too big park either. Dylan thought it would be romantic. Once the went through the park entrance, he lead Mer over to a certain place. He then stopped in his tracks, then fully turned to face Mer. "Hey... Um.... Mer...", he started. Before he continued speaking, he held out his hands and held hers, intertwining their fingers together. "There's... Something I want to ask you...", he told her, feeling his heart starting to race, becoming really nervous. All of a sudden, a radio in the background started playing the song "Mirrors by Justin Timberlake". Dylan smiled at Mer, feeling a bit more confident now.

As Dylan put his jacket around Mer, she couldn’t help but smile. She noticed that this was the jacket that Dylan wore the first time they hung out. “Thanks Dylan,” she said as she smiled widely. “Yeah, it really is pretty here.” As their food arrived, Mer started eating quickly. She was very hungry and she wasn’t going to hide it. 

"You're welcome", his smile grew wider.  He nodded as his eyes wandered around the restaurant one last time. Then the food finally arrived, and they both digged in. He saw Mer was eating her food really fast, most people would find that weird, but that it was cute. On the bright side, the faster they ate, the faster Dylan could show her the other surprises he had for her. A couple hours later, they both finished their foods. "Wow, I'm stuffed now", Dylan sat back on the chair for awhile then took one last sip of his drink. "are you done", he asked Mer, seeing her eat the last bites of her food.

"Yeah, it’s fine." she replied as she half-smiled. "Everything’s been great, how about you?" she asked as she took Dylan’s hand. She was shaking a little, nervous. She always got nervous around him. But it was a good kind of nervous. She looked around the restaurant, smiling at all the pretty decorations. She then started thinking about the dance, and how she was so excited to see Dylan in a suit.

Dylan nodded, "It's been great." He started to blush as Mer took his hand. He could tell Mer was starting to shake and asked, "Are you cold?". He took off his leather jacket and placed it on her. He watched Mer as her eyes wandered around the restaurant, looking at all the gorgeous decorations. His own eyes started to wander as well. "Wow, this place is really pretty", he pointed out, being a bit obvious. Dylan started to realize that the homecoming dance was tomorrow. He honestly couldn't wait. Soon enough, him and Mer were going to be officially together. He could feel it. 

Mer smiled widely. She hoped it wouldn’t be too expensive, she didn’t want Dylan wasting all his money on her. As Dylan opened the door for her, she walked inside and sat down at a table, sitting across from Dylan. As the waitress asked for their orders, Mer asked for a light salad along with a glass of water. she wasn’t very hungry, and, like she thought earlier, didn’t want anything too expensive. She then waited for Dylan to order.

Hearing Mer's orders, he asked her, "are you sure that's all you wanted to get ?", Dylan asked her, not minding how much he would have to pay. He then ordered a medium sized bacon cheeseburger and a glass of coca cola to go with it.  As they were waiting for their food, he asked, "So how has everything been Mer ?", he asked her with a smile. It was Dylan's birthday today but he didn't tell Mer 'cause he didn't want to make this date a little birthday celebration for him. The only person who knew that it was his birthday to was his own sister. After a while, the waitor came back with their meal and they both started eating.

Once the door swung open and he saw the brown haired girl standing in the door way. His face lit up, and mouthed the word “wow!” As Mer pulled Dylan into a big hug, he hugged her back and complimented...

As Dylan was driving, he kept smiling. His heart was also racing because, little did Mer know that she was going to get asked to be Dylans girlfriend after he took her to a nearby restraunt. Dylan blushed a little at the thought of Mer officially being his. Finally, Dylan had arrived to his destination. "This is it", he told Mer as he got out of the car and opened the door for her. Once he turned around to look at the restraunt, his eyes widened. He didn't think it would look so fancy. He thought it would just look like another one of those fast food restraunts. He reached his hand out for Mer's waiting for it to grab it. As soon as she did, he led her to the entrance.

Once the door swung open and he saw the brown haired girl standing in the door way. His face lit up, and mouthed the word "wow!" As Mer pulled Dylan into a big hug, he hugged her back and complimented her, "Wow, you look gorgeous Mer !", he smiled at her and watched that cute little blush of hers appear on her face. "Ready to go ?", he asked her as he held out his elbow, waiting for her to grab it and escorted her to his car. He opened the car door up for her, "After you my lady", he winked at her and smiled again. Then he got inside the car and drove off.
