this site has become way less tolerable and way more unfunny in recent times, and i think thats due to more than one thing, me getting older probably being one of them. I think at least two of the other reasons are half the site is populated by adult children lacking both media literacy and any desire to engage with adult subject matter, and the fact that all the trans women and black people have been run off the platform, leaving behind a big white annoying echo chamber that passes around the same five jokes and lukewarm takes and gets scared when something a little challenging encroaches on its space
