you bet there are ! right now we would kill for a FRANK LONGBOTTOM, PETER PETTIGREW, BENJY FENWICK, and KINGSLEY SHACKLEBOLT. so please, snatch ‘em up !! 

i simply can not miss the chance to point you in the direction of our PINTEREST BOARD for our baby rebekah - but i would also love to give you some extra ideas !

the initial idea behind rebekah was, in a way, exploring the ways to subvert the expectations of generational carry-over from harry’s years. she is not the mother of hannah abbott, but rather the aunt ( a family dynamic to be rolled out in opening of character’s with her player’s input ). there could be well of emotion tied in with recent memory of the ways in which public perception turns even the most established witches and wizards into traitors, and perhaps there has been a realization of how close to home this war is becoming in a sister or brother marrying a muggle. rebekah being vocal does not necessitate that she is forthcoming with emotions or motive. 

we see rebekah as a radical, even among her peers of revolutionaries, even among the order itself. extremely spirited ( with a touch of foot-in-mouth syndrome ), she is not always everyone’s cup of tea. despite growing up fully immersed in the magical world in a family that was among the sacred twenty-eight until an exile in more recent years – her young adult years have been informed by her need to be as vocal of an ally as possible. there is a rub to this, being that there are times when it would seem she speaks over those she has vowed to protect. 

as an earth sign there is an element of immovability to her whether in conflict or in general, she may pair well with an element of scorpio. this may leave her with an inability to recognize the havoc she can create, standing in juxtaposition to her inability to shirk responsibility of the cause she has decided to shoulder. the balance between taking things too far and the supposed temperance of capricorns could be fascinating to play with. rebekah could be a full-throttle achievers who over-motivates herself and end up with an intense, pushy avarice.

a quick poll tells me that we are in desperate need of RITA SKEETER, CHARITY BURBAGE, EMMELINE VANCE, AMELIA BONES, and MADELINE MCKINNON - that barely narrows down your field but we are just excited to see your take on any of them !

timestamps are not necessary when writing. however, in order to keep a linear storyline, group-wide plot-drops will give general timeframes by which people are more than welcome to interact in. for example, our first plot drop is taking place AUGUST 31st - SEPTEMBER 30th, 1979 with all interactions set before this time as flashbacks.

𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐅𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍.

The battle was a decision of the collective, or rather, a forced attack by the more foolhardy among the Order. It was the first which wasn’t a directive of Albus Dumbledore himself, the first which break a chain of command so carefully put in place.

( THERE HAD ALREADY BEEN MURMURINGS AMONGST THE FOUNDING MEMBERS : these young recruits were going to be hard to handle. )

Among the dead are DEDALUS DIGGLE and ELPHIAS DOGE, dying as heroes often do with their bodies left to be claimed by the masked Knights of Walpurgis. Drawing blood and away the shrouds of anonymity lie the bodies of MORTIMER MULCIBER and ROSALINE WILKES, a somewhat hollow victory for the side of the Order. More questions, and more left hidden in their cowardice and prejudice. Injuries stack, a steadily filling infirmary kept safe in the Order’s current Headquarters while the rest attempt to flee what they had sought to protect.

As signal for retreat flickered through pure light, the groups fractured further while some were lost among the chaos.

HESTIA JONES with GIDEON PREWETT, last seen near Dumbledore’s former office. SIRIUS BLACK, last seen near the dungeons, locked in a fierce battle with a slight, hooded figure.  The three left behind as another marking of failure as night bleeds into morning.

( SEVERUS SNAPE, a shadow stolen beneath the menacing branches of the Whomping Willow as spell’s light rained down upon the castle’s midnight grounds, garnering less recognition. )

HOGWARTS HAS HOUSED ILL - INTENT IN THE PAST, THOUGH NEVER HAS IT BEEN KEPT LIKE A SPOIL OF WAR.

It sits now, fortified walls housing the most dangerous wizard the world has ever seen. A glaring signal of failure to those recovering among the scattered remains of the Order.

( DUMBLEDORE’S SILENCE, HELD HOLLOW IN THE BELLY OF THE MINISTRY, IS DEAFENING. )

Thoughts shy away from those still missing, whose bodies could be just another piece claimed, more shrouded heroes to mourn. Those that are left collect themselves, in some cases each other, in the hopes of recovering from this blow.

We pick up in the immediate aftermath of the battle, with the Order fragmented and left for the first time without the guiding, knowing hand of now - Minister Dumbledore.
