a plate for VC 26. we were first assigned to create (on Illustrator) a robot out of the letters "R," "O," "B," "T," and "A" (letters from the word "ROBOTA"), and thus after incorporate the robot into a comic book cover.

took around 10 hours to make the robot & the tentacles. took around 10 hours more to finish the whole cover.

but ugh, i've never stopped thanking God every moment since i submitted this. i've loved comic books & robots forever, and to see my favorite plate so far succeed was just amazing for me.

plate trip. walk down memory lane through the plates i'd done throughout the year, and i've realized but one thing.

oh Lord, what do i hope for, and what can i do?

i have doubted You for so long. in these past few days, my mind has been more worried than it ever has. my personal times with You have suffered, my evenings swim in despair, and my decisions are torn apart. i know Lord that to excel in my acads means to excel for You and at the same time i know that You should come first in everything,

but why must my acads pull me away from You?

there is no time left for me anymore. my plates, exams, papers and work eat up my nights, my health, my sleep. and Lord, how can i evangelize and attend meetings of the body?

i fear so many things, and my fear sometimes becomes bigger than my faith. there are times when i dread being in Fine Arts, because i know You gave this to me, yet i am frustrated by my work. nothing i ever do satisfies me... and Lord, how can i be a good servant to You when i fear so much?

Lord, be gracious to me. i never really want to do what i do; i just want to pray to You, write to You, read from Your Word, sing Your songs all day long. i'm so sorry Lord that i don't know how to face things on my own.

but Lord, i love You.

first date, first visit to the National Museum, first spendtime to experience how true friendship and pure relationships are celebrated and honored.

i probably have no idea of what hope really is. is it supposed to make someone happy? is it supposed to give someone dread? right now, not even i know what kind of hope i can hold on to. i am very encouraged by you asking me for a date, and how it's all splendidly arranged, us with our double, in the national museum and whatnot, but you probably have no idea how much this date means to me. i've been praying for this for so long, begging and wrestling with God for this date to happen, just to feed my hope a little more. because the truth is, my hope has become a broken man left out in the cold, standing in the rain. and now all i'm left to do is wonder what this one date could do for you and me. with all my heart, i pray that something happens for us.

four years of waiting. and to think, you were just about to give up when suddenly she herself 'fessed up and now what you've been waiting for for four years has finally come true for you. bro, i believe with all my heart that you deserve the girl of your dreams. you have become the living embodiment of Hebrews 10:37, "waiting without giving up." and really, you have inspired me to wait without giving up. everything just seemed really impossible at first, but it happened in the end. do you think this could happen for me too? would you be there with your little sis as she does the impossible?
