Let me explain. Gangle and Kaufmo have two different art styles, Gangle being anime, Kaufmo’s being more of realism. That’s probably why Jax picks on Gangle and has a grudge against Kaufmo. Because he was hanging out with Gangle as well!!!!

Something that's been on my mind as of late was a slideshow that I came across, originally created by violet_rants8 on tiktok.
They made an analysis of the tadc characters and what type of fruit they would be. You know me. Of course I'd have to do this. Without further ado, I present..
TADC OVER-ANALYSIS (Pt.1)
Fruit Edition 🍎🫐🍍
POMNI

Pomni is described as an apple. A popular fruit, something that, if you were to think of a fruit, would probably be one of the first things you think of. They could even be described as basic.
Pomni is the main character. The "face" of the digital circus, you could say. Being the main character comes along with being generally likeable, relatable, and in most cases-- a character that you can't go wrong with.
Apples come in different variants-- some sweet and crisp, some sour and soft, one vice-versa. The different types of apples could also represent Pomni in the context of how she can be different, whether that's around certain people (like Jax-- a great example is her demeanor/actions in episode 6.), or even her view towards the circus when she first entered, as well as when she began to cope with her situation.
Despite all of this, apples are basic as well. A main character, or a character that is designed for most to like, would be a basic option regarding having a favorite character. Nevertheless, Pomni -- and apples-- are both great things, and something you can't go wrong with.
I’ve been wanting to talk about this ever since I watched EP6.
Do you all remember that moment in EP3 when Jax was holding his breath? Back then, I couldn’t really tell what the effect of his breath-holding was. But I think EP6 finally revealed it.
When Pomni started talking about the glitched human, Jax suddenly got furious. And right after that, he deliberately took a breath and held it, right?
Then immediately, he snapped back into his default face. That’s his breath-holding effect.
1. By holding his breath, he resets back to his default face.
2. He can temporarily shut off his thoughts.
At least, that’s how I see it.
Later, he even tried to hold his breath again—like when he shouted **ck!! When he turned to face us, he wasn’t smiling at all. And realizing that, the words “Fuck!” just slipped out.
If he holds his breath, he should be able to smile like usual. But in front of Pomni, he couldn’t.
Which means… yeah. No one has ever noticed the effect of his breath-holding before. Which also means… he’s been alone with it, right?
…Or maybe not. Anyway, that’s just my theory!!

Hate to break it to you, but, if you love Jax but hate Ragatha/Gangle and can’t give me a reason for hating her other than “she’s annoying”/“she’s a pick me”/“Gangle traumatised Jax”/“Ragatha brought up Jax’s abstracted friend”, then you are a misogynist, or you have a lot of internalised misogyny. If Jax traumatised Gangle, you wouldn’t care, if Jax brought up Ragatha’s abstracted friend, you wouldn’t bat an eye. And before anyone says “oh but I’m a woman 🥹”, you can STILL be a misogynist.
I would like to say that I don’t like Gangle all too much, and that is because I can’t relate to her all too much, nor can I really comprehend what she goes through with Jax. Not because I don’t care that Jax bullies her, but because I’ve never experienced it myself, and it’s difficult for me to fathom. I choose my favourite characters based off of how much I can relate to them.
“It really hurts my feelings being accused of being a misogynist/having internalised misogyny because I don’t like a fictional character coz she’s a pick me 🥹” Wah, wah, just say you can’t accept being called out on shit you need to work on.
