^Susie just so happened to be passing by the room, her eyes set on the path ahead of her as if she had something important to do; but as she felt the dread in the air practically hit her— it stopped her dead in her tracks..

She starred at the door, attempting to listen in at first as if that’d help clue her in of why she could be feeling the strong grief— but, it wasn’t long before she took action instead of waiting to find out.

her eyes softened as she knocked gently on the door^

Her hand hesitates and the worry in her eyes doesn’t fade right away, but she slightly reaches out, tilting her head a bit with a worried smile^

“Hey~ your right! It’s Susie!

Um.. I don’t think I’ve met you before! I’d ask your name just in case, but first—

You okie..? I know It’s not much of an offer but.. If you need to talk to anyone, I heard I’m one of the best toons around to do that with~ I’d be happy to help you in any way I can!”

“We all still have habits like that I’m sure— even if it has been a while..

And It’s fine! I don’t mind a mess— I can help you clean it too if you need..! I won’t tell Tisha, promise~”

^as susie looked inside she only really felt like her suspicions were confirmed— something was up; and as soon as she saw the empty, untouched bed she knew why she had such a strong feeling about it.

..she paused, thinking of what to say as she sat on an empty spot on the floor— not wanting to mess up any of the beds.^

“S-so ..! Um— how have you been doing? — is there anything that…

Err..

.. I’m admittedly fresh out of small talk right now.. sorry that, bad timing huh~ ?

“oh! Good question!”

^susie puts a finger to her cheek^

“Hmm— well, I guess I haven’t thought about them as groups before! Let me think..

I wouldn’t say I talk to Flyte much— I think I’ve seen him a few times ? But not very often!

Flutter however, I think we get along fine! I kinda know her because of Connie in the first place though, so we don’t really hang out often by ourselves..

I think the craft siblings are very nice! Goob is such a sweetheart, I enjoy his hugs and presence!! He and I get along quite well, I think that’s because we both enjoy showing others affection!

and I like Scraps’ art! We’ve made some arts and crafts together for Valentine’s Day before! It was nice to have her help that day~

The ghost siblings I’m much more close with though! At least, I’d like to think I am~

Connie’s someone I really like— she’s super fun to be around, and I enjoy spending time with her~

I hang around her and Gigi whenever I get the chance, I’ll admit I’m much more mischievous when I’m with those two— they’re both bad influences ~ ! Hehe~

I think Connie is awfully charming, honestly~ she’s cool, funny and — well, I’ve talked about this before, hehe..~

Soulvester is fine, he’s nice and all— i don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about him really! but I’m kinda awkward around him.. I don’t really know what to talk about— and I uh.. because I like his sister a lot— <a-as friends!! Of course! G-gal pals!!> I always feel odd around him..

Her and Demonica were both made to be based off their species similar to how Connie is just kinda a ghost(at least, I never thought she was based on anything else- could be wrong!!)

Basically, my formula for making toon OCs has been that they mainly can be based off of nouns, not just objects (so basically, iconic species count— such as a werewolf, ghost— or examples that haven’t been used like a mermaid, vampire, other stuff like that!)

I’ve also made a few toon OCs based on actual objects, so I promise I have thought about this a lot

(This is an excuse to show off these three lol)

His name is Rosemary :)) it’s possible one day I’ll actually do something with the rest of my dandy’s world ocs but for now I’m doing my best to show off Susie and Demonica </3

I guess I should try and find a new hobby or something similar ! Journaling has always seemed fun to me so maybe I’ll try that!!

“It’s good to see other holiday toons getting the courage to talk to others outside their holidays! It took a while for me to be able to do that myself now that I think of it..

She kind of cracks up a bit as Connie joins the conversation^

“Me and the other valentines toons are matchmakers! Or.. we help toons out with their relationships! Not Just romantic ones, but any type of person you care about! Partners, friends, family, yourself— we help everyone know that showing you love someone or something is important and how to do it!

We technically cater for events too! Mostly only ones that involve our holiday of course!

We can do other ones th- Well.. There was one time where we tried to cater for something else and it was a biit of a disaster..”

“..it sometimes is a little lonely though— I do have the valentines gang but.. when your looking for love for others you don’t get much time to have your own~

Rosemary complains the most about it— I try and make him feel better and i think he’d call me a hypocrite if he knew it made me sad too, so don’t tell him I told you, hehe~

“I wish I got that kind of opportunity too.. I care about the other valentines toons and all— but I just.. ah— i’m sorry, nevermind..

But um .. I’m— I’m happy for you!~ .. it makes sense why they’d let you be a main toon, just from talking to you right now!”

^she smiled sweetly at Connie^
