human sex differences are subtle, but pretty much unmistakable; the ability to recognize them as a glance is instinctive, and no amount of gaslighting is going to stop people’s brains from making these unconscious calculations. even the most strident trans activist can correctly sex 99.9% of the people they see on a daily basis, and no matter how many times they repeat their cult mantras they will never be able to prevent their own eyes from seeing what’s right in front of them.

To all the women out there who are afraid of loosing friends and facing backlash for being a radical feminist can I just say as someone who terfed out almost a year ago, it’s fucking bliss on the other side!!

seriously it’s so liberating bc i no longer have to constantly agonize over everything i say or think or write just in case it might offend someone....

look, if you cannot be in public barefaced without being self-conscious & feeling like shit, then your decision to wear makeup is not a choice freely made

the greatest crime of the karen meme is that now teen and college aged boys working in retail can make derogative comments about middle aged women and be celebrated and validated and encouraged to think himself oppressed by them

my friend works at a grocery store and when we talked about this recently she told me that while women can be snobby and entitled, they’ve never compared to her male customers in bad behaviour. a man once brought something without a barcode to check out and when she told him it was missing a barcode but that she would go and get him another one he rolled his eyes and left the store.

I worked in a grocery store for 6 years and both male and female customers have been assholes that have made me cry but the actual worst customers were the men that we had to hide some of my coworkers from because they came in to stalk and harass them. 

I’ve worked in various customer facing jobs the entirety of my adult life and have never been physically threatened by a woman but have been by several men.

tbh every job I’ve had working with the public has involved far more men being assholes than women. I once had to help hold down a guy who literally tried to attack our receptionist when she wouldn’t tell him whether his girlfriend was in the clinic being treated. I assume it’s that people don’t even register men doing this kind of shit as unusual, it’s just like the weather

look I’m not going to argue something dumb like ‘karen is a slur’ or whatever … but I’m not tolerating any more white men who make Karen jokes.

It’s not a slur and may or may not become one, but it is most certainly a singling out of women, which I’ve come to be leery of regardless of the original intent. And sure enough, it’s just become another acceptable way for men to enact misogyny.

any female specific slur is misogyny and i hate it. i won’t use any derogatory terms towards women AT ALL. and women who say they reclaim the word b*tch to be empowering or whatever...like...no thanks.
