Work-in-progress spoiler for the new girl 🤫

For those who still remember who she is.

Went down another rabbit hole of “none of the lace in the world looks exactly the way I need it to”. So I ended up making the collar from scratch — using the thinnest thread and a beading needle. Same story with the button loops.

She buried her fingers in the cool moss, so different from the scorching sand.

Time flows differently here. The roots of the old oak remember what ancient tablets have long forgotten. The wind toys with the leaves instead of shaping whirling sand. Even golden-winged beetles dance freely among the branches, unwilling to push the sun toward the west.

She closed her eyes.

The Nile does not flow here.
