❝ OH, god. ❞ dax muttered under his breath as he watched the dog run towards him, a scowl on his face as he tried to step backwards, to keep the animal from touching him.  ❝ can you fucking get that slobbery mess the hell away from me ? ❞ he asked in a harsh tone, frowning in disgust as he watched the woman come near him with even more dogs.  ❝ maybe you should try not to run your own pack of mutts if you’re new. ❞

“yes, but her knowing it’s bad lets her know she could get in trouble for saying it, rather than her casually saying it without any idea of what it mean.” another pointed look shot in his direction and she shook her head at him. it would be her luck if the little girl went home with a whole new vocabulary. and considering how much she adored isa and working for parker, she wasn’t certain she wanted that to happen. “yeah, but if i’m being honest, life would be incredibly boring without you, and i dunno, you’re not the worst person i’ve met.” maybe that wasn’t entirely truthful, but she wouldn’t say that to dax. “well, glad this little encounter could at least be a little beneficial. mind if i ask what happened between you two?”
