𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃.

evan   grew   up   in   la   but   found   himself   moving   to   new   york   city   when   he   peaked   18   for   college.   he   doesn’t   talk   to   anyone   about   his   parents   and   deeply   hoped   that   no   one   would   bring   them   up   bc   they   used   to   verbally   abuse   him   which   def   caused   psychological   damage.   if   they   did   he   would   causally   respond   as   if   they   were   dead.      unfortunately,   his   parents   went   under   critical   care   so   he   couldn’t   stay   in   new   york   city   for   long.   he   was   accepted   into   columbia   university   but   then   had   to   take   his   classes   online.   his   parents   took   off   eight   years   of   his   education,   and   for   that   reason   he   would   never   forgive   them   but   ofc   wanting   to   be   the   perfect   son   for   them   still,   he   tried   his   best   to   be   by   their   side.   this   also   negatively   impacted   his   social   life   as   well,   evan   didn’t   have   as   many   friends   as   he   used   to   and   grew   distant   from   his   now   ex   fiancée.   all   he   ever   knew   was   work.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘

as   evan   was   growing   up   he   was   very   outgoing   and   vibrant.   he   was   so   different   from   the   person   he   is   now.   but   ever   since   what   had   happened   with   his   parents,   he   grew   cold   and   emotionally   unavailable.   he   worked   day   and   night   studying   from   those   text   books   as   his   parents   were   in   the   other   room   breathing   from   an   oxygen   tank.   even   though   he   acts   like   he   doesn’t   give   a   single   fuck   with   the   people   he’s   close   with;   he   cares   deeply   for   them   and   would   do   anything   to   keep   them   safe.   he   tries   to   bring   back   that   outgoing   and   vibrant   self   of   him   back   but   he   knows   he   would   eventually   grow   tired   of   it.

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒

evan   is   known   as   one   of   the   best   neurosurgeon   /   trauma   surgeon   in   the   los   angles   era   given   for   the   fact   that   his   surgery   successes   rate   were   the   highest   as   he   was   skilled   in   the   most   advanced   diagnostic   and   treatment   approaches.      

he  knows   asl   and   speaks   fluent   in   english   and   korean. 

if   he   wasn’t   in   surgery   then   he   was   in   the   pediatric   center   diagnosing   and   treating   younger   kids.   he   took   his   sweet   ass   time   in   there   because   he   knew   that   he   wanted   to   be   there   for   them   bc   no   one   else   was   for   him.

he   chooses   the   logical   way   of   things   then   following   his   own   heart   but   that   could   change   with   what   the   subject   it   is.   

the   only   people   that   evan   would   open   his   barriers   with   and   act   like   his   old   self   would   be   with   his   patients,   kids   (   bc   of   the   paternal   energy   he   holds   )   and   his   ex   fiancee.   his   ex   fiancee   got   him   through   rough   times   and   was   always   there   for   him   so   he   wasn’t   sure   how   long   he   would   go   without   her   when   the   apocalypse   had   started.   obvi   he   had   a   hard   time   expressing   this   because   the   whole   reason   why   she   was   his   ex   was   because   he   focused   more   so   on   his   job   and   kept   apologizing   for   missing   out   on   their   dates,   coming   home   late,   and   becoming   closed   off,   etc.   he   tried   looking   for   his   fiancee   everywhere   but   eventually   had   to   tell   himself   that   they   were   dead   and   not   coming   back.
