THANK YOU LOVE. That post was so SO much fun to make. Exploring the house out of bounds in general was just so fascinating. I really wish we could see the other section of the house that is never accessed, since I believe that's where the kitchen and bathroom likely are. But I'll take what I can get!

Just the sheer amount of detail they put into that room that you would NEVER see is astounding. It makes me think that maybe that room was meant to be accessible at one point, but they likely scrapped the idea. It's a shame if that's the case, but oh well. It's still great.

Dealing with one such as the Distortion was annoying on many different levels. The most significant being that even just looking at it gave him a headache. The grating of it's voice was less frightening than irritating. And now it's childish behavior has drawn Elias's attention.

Setting his pen down slowly, Elias folded his hands together and raised his eyes to Michael, "Is that what you think? And why is that? What do you understand about what he felt?"

His attention was placed fully on Michael, keeping him from getting any sort of edge over Elias. Dealing with the Distortion tended to be a dizzying experience for those inexperienced, but this one... This particular door seems to like to hang around the Institute a little too much. "As if Michael knew anything about what it was like to manage a place like this. I am the only one here capable, as evident by my promotion."

Pesky words from a pesky creature. Elias barely acknowledged the door whenever it appeared, seeing it as nothing more than a distraction, even more so when the being referred to as Michael made his appearance as well. All the same, he couldn't bring himself to completely eject it from the Institute.

The holidays were never much to Elijah, always just another day with the same. He always felt they were overhyped and over saturated when it came to the market and consumerism, but well into retirement he has come to find ways to enjoy it nonetheless. Perhaps that is thanks to his androids, the closest thing he had to a real family anymore. Or maybe he just felt less alone because Chloe was always there. She certainly made it all seem a little less dull.

A little smile touched his lips, lifting his chin a bit to direct it at her as he gave a little hum at her touch, "Is that so? Hm, seems Santa hasn't forgotten even me, despite the fact that I'm sure I'm on his naughty list," Elijah chuckled as he pushed himself to stand from his desk, making his way out of the office and to the living room.

The girls had made it a tradition to set the tree up every year and decorate it however they liked. This year, the theme seemed to be red and gold, strands of tinsel wrapping around the tree. But, like Chloe had said, there was in fact a gift under it with his name on it. Signed, of course, from Santa.
