i needed this book honestly. i had not even realised i needed this book until i came across the synopsis. this book is simply amazing. it's emotional, angst-ridden, humourous, heartwarming and most of all full of unconditional love. the relationships described in this book are to die for. I'm a real sucker of Rev's and Declan's friendship 🙈

This is the first book in the series Letters to the Lost, followed by More Than We Can Tell.

Juliet Young always writes letters to her mother, a world-traveling photojournalist. Even after her mother's death, she leaves letters at her grave. It's the only way Juliet can cope.

I loveddd Declan a lot, and although Juliet's personality was sort-of similar to Emma's personality from MTWCT her character was quite lovely. It should really be in your tbr list if you like YA even a bit 🙊

this is seriously my favorite book from the series Elements by B.C. Cherry. I loved everything about this book, and even though it was second in the series, following 'The Air He Breathes' [I'll review it soon too] i still felt it was a lot better.

The writing style of the book is amazing, even though at times i felt as if it was maybe a bit length-y, it was cool and quite amazing (tbh) to read. The main thing that attracted me towards this book was it's intense characters. Both Logan (lo) and Alyssa (high) [i loved the way they called each other High and Lo] had had a rough childhood and were somehow dealing with the way to survive adulthood...the angst of this book was amazingggg!!!

I've loved this book since I had started reading Y/A contemporary and it was amazing honestly. I loved the characters, the storyline, the humour, the sarcasm everything!!! .

I wince. I have no idea what to say. "Do you want to hit me back? You can."

"No, I don't want to hit you back, you idiot. I've sent you like thiry texts. Are you okay?"

My eyebrows go up. "You are asking me if I'm okay?"

"Yes."

It's like the moment I realised Dad wasn't going to let me chase him out of my room. I want to crumple on the floor. "No," I say. "I'm not."

"Then come on."

I don't move. My head is spinning. "Where are we going?"

"Downstairs. Get your gloves. If you need to throw punches, let's find something better than my face.

The moment i came across Rev, i fell in love with him wholeheartedly, no doubt.❤️ He's the typical, dark gothic black-hoddie-black-clothes type of guy.

This book is complete YA and it's not overwhelming or anything, in fact the darkness brought by Rev and the humour his friends and family brings in the book is completely balanced out.

Anyone in YA will love this book for sure!!!
