dvhaejoo:
Part of her was amused with this newfound ability, the other half was terrified. What kind of consequences it would bring? She knew from experience that they come no matter what you do, but the only thing she wanted at the moment was to stop the bleeding of that man completely and take him out of the alley - she had no idea how to explain her phone call to the paramedics now. The good thing is that it was working, he wasn’t freaking out about her choice of treatment and he looked way better, even his words were more clear now.
“Well, that’s not how I usually treat my patients, but I’m glad it’s working,” she replied with a nervous laugh. The truth is that the whole thing happened too fast and once she looked at the wound again, it was almost healed, but she, on the other hand, was starting to feel weak and was sweating a lot. It wasn’t enough to make her stop though - Haejoo was sure she was just tired and shocked, that everything would be fine after a hot shower once she was home.
“Nice to meet you too, Jinki,” she said, her voice wasn’t loud enough. “Um, I’m… Haejoo.” She frowned, forcing her eyes to see the evolution of whatever she was doing, however, her vision was a bit blurry. After blinking twice, it seemed better. The wound was gone and if it wasn’t for the blood in his skin and clothes, no one would ever guess what happened there. “How do you feel?” she asked, still worried as she had no clue how this thing really worked and if he was truly healed or if it was a illusion. At this point, everything was possible.
Haejoo stood up and offered her hand to Jinki. If he was able to walk, it was a good sign. “You still need to see a doc-” she couldn finish it. The whole was spinning around her and her vision got blurry again. Suddenly, it was all dark.
As the woman -- Haejoo -- continued to do, well, whatever it was, that she was doing, Jinki couldn’t help but notice a few sudden changes in her. If what she was doing was anything similar to what he himself could do, then his experience was telling him that what she was doing was probably wearing her out, and fast. He almost felt guilty that she had done this in the first place, but he tried to focus on the fact that she had likely just discovered something new about herself. It definitely seemed like she had.
When Haejoo began to speak again, Jinki turned his attention to her -- only to see her pass out. “Haejoo!” he called, forcing himself up to be next to her. Well this was familiar. Jinki remembered himself passing out after using his powers for the first time. Thankfully, Haejoo’s healing of his wound had gotten rid of the pain too, so he had no doubts that he could get her out of here himself. Honestly, he wasn’t too keen on waiting around for the ambulance to get here, so Jinki stood and picked up Haejoo, and headed in the direction of his apartment.
As he entered his apartment, he hoped that Haejoo wouldn’t think it was too weird that he brought her to his own house -- he just wasn’t sure where else to bring her. He probably could have searched her person to see if she had any sort of identification with her home address on it, but somehow, that felt even creepier. Dismissing the thought, Jinki set Haejoo down on the couch, then retrieved a pillow and blanket from his room, as well as a damp towel. Moving her head so it was resting on the pillow, Jinki placed the blanket over her before setting the towel on her forehead. Hopefully, she would wake up and not panic because she was in some stranger’s house. Sure, he could have taken to the hospital, but what would he have told them, that she passed out from using her magical powers too much? Snickering at the thought, Jinki got himself comfortable in a nearby recliner, hoping to catch a bit of sleep before Haejoo woke up.
