Well, I spent a lot of time on this, most likely made a lot of mistakes, but I’m still glad I did it, it was a good experience

at first I just wanted to draw Fox in a suit, focusing on his shoes with heels... but then I got carried away haha

Well, I obviously liked painting the picture more than sketching, but I spent a lot of time on it

You got this vibe and aura similar to Blue Diamond from Steven Universe. Not in a bad way, in a good way.

You got this soft, alluring, elegant mystery mist going around you, the mellow melancholy vibe of some kind. Am I making any sense? If not, then I'm sorry. 😅😅😅

Oh, thank you! This is my Sona, something like a space jellyfish, I rarely draw her because I came up with a very complex design for her haha

I thought Mia is Egyptian due to her being a fennce fox, because I am confused about her nationality, ethnicity, and race

She's a mixed-breed, with parents of different nationalities, including her mother, because that's what I'll call her family tree. She's NOT a wild fennec fox, but a fennec fox from a wildlife sanctuary. I had, and still have, my theory that animal people hide their identities because they were captured, and so Mia's ancestors were simply captured and then raised. There's a lot of inbreeding, and Mia's mother is actually the result of decorative genetic selection, meaning she's not purebred, so she doesn't look like a wild fennec fox. Mia also looks more like her father. (And Mia's mother's stories about what they do to beastmens really scared Mia's father, so he hid his daughter as best he could, even after Mia's mother abandoned them)

I generally like the idea that many of the beastmens in the cities are escaped beastmens from wildlife reserves, hiding and trying to live among humans (at least it sounds like something humans would actually do...)

at first I just wanted to sketch them, inspired by a collage from Pinterest with references... and then I got carried away and decided to color them, that's where we are now

oh they are there, but this is the least obvious place, they are on the hips, Mia for a long time thought that these were birthmarks because her human father did not know all the intricacies of beast people

Gato said that the marks of beastmen can be anywhere and look like anything, I just really didn’t want to put them on her face

It's not like a reboot of my old work, it's more like a redesign of clothes for a more logical design and where to hide the tail
