 he  splutters   —   actually  splutters   —   having  been  caught  completely  off  guard  by  the  statement .     he’d  been  dropping  her  off  after  walking  her  home .    when  he  told  her  ‘not  much’  in  answer  to  what  his  plans  for  the  rest  of  the  day  were ,  he  wasn’t  expecting  this  to  follow .    he  looks  to  her  with  disbelief   &   sweeps  over  her  face  to  catch  any  hint  of  joking  in  her  expression .    if  it’s  there ,  it’s  not  obvious  enough  for  him  to  recognize .           ❝     …    you’re  serious ?     ❞

❝     you  think  i’m  stupid  enough  to  kill  just  one  of  ‘em ?    logic  says  dean ,  as  sam  makes  my  bullets ,  but  that  doesn’t  really  matter  if  sam  probably’ll  stop  makin’  them  if  i  shoot  his  brother .    if  i  shoot  sam  then  i  make  the  top  of  dean  winchester’s  hit  list .   if  i’m  having  to  pick  then  i’d  shoot  both  those  boys .   least  then  they  don’t  have  to  live  without  the  other .     ❞

“Good. Because I would really feel offended now otherwise.” Baby had no clue what had gotten into her to basically invite herself to Colt’s place. But the nights were lonely lately, Sam and Dean seemed to be always busy, and she had gotten used to some company at this point.

“And you should not offer such things to me. Or I might end up staying with you for the rest of the week.” It was meant as a joke, sure. But, if Colt would agree to it, Baby would just pack up some things and move into his place for a while.

❝    go  ‘head ,  see  if  i  mind  it .   jus’  me  in  my  place  anyhow .   not  like  you’re  interruptin’  anything .    ❞            if  not  going  out ,  which  he  would  to  the  bar  with  dean  sometimes ,  then  he  had  a  very  boring  routine  at  home .   come  home ,  kick  of  the  boots ,  open  a  beer  sit  on  the  couch  with  his  feet  up   &   watch  whatever  the  hell  he  could  find  on  tv .   could  be  a  nice  change  of  pace  to  see  someone  there  to  chat  to  instead ,  if  he  was  honest .

“Yours. Yours is more comfy, actually.” And that meant something, seeing she had most likely been staying in DC for longer. Or, that is what Baby did assume, at least. But, she was a little like Dean, feeling happy when she had a bed and a TV and a filled fridge. Plus, a lot less things to tidy up this way.

“Yours, and then we’ll snuggle in your bed, and tomorrow…. tomorrow I will go back to my place then, okay? Is that something you can accept?”

 he  hadn’t  meant  it  seriously ,  but  then  again  he  didn’t  mind  it  being  taken  that  way  either .   his  apartment  didn’t  see  much  company  other  than  baby’s  visits .    despite  his  living  here  over  a  year ,  it  was  a simplistic  place  but  comfortable  all  the  same .   he  takes  the  time  to  consider  then  nods  to  her .

❝    my  place  or  yours ?    ❞        it’s  merely  a  phrase  he’s  picked  up ,   &   it’s  meant  as  a  tease  as  he  loops  his  arm  to  link  with  her’s .    son  of  a  gun  he  may  be   ( or  simply  just  gun )   he  would  truly  get  her  back  to  her  home   &   safely  into  bed  if  that’s  what  she  wanted .

❝    i  don’t  care  what  you  say ,  cats  are  evil .    ❞            a  discovery :   he  wasn’t  an  animal  person .    where  most  fawned  over  the  furry  creatures ,  the  colt  saw  one  hiss  at  him   &   decided  he  immediately  disliked  any  feline .     not  to  mention ,  he’d  heard  what  the  little  fur  balls  could  do  with  their  claws .    oh ,   &   the  shedding ?    he’d  pass .

 the  only  reason  they’re  not  watching  some  old  western  was  because  he  let  her  pick  the  movie .    his  boots  were  lying  in  a  corner ,  hat  hung  on  a  hook  on  the  wall ,  duster  draped  over  a  chair .    the  colt  was  slouched  on  his  couch  with  his  shirt  untucked   &   vest  undone   ---   the  gun  too  rarely  got  this  relaxed .    he  was  admittedly  mesmerized  by  the  showy  fight  scene ,  despite  protesting  once  before  that  a  simple  quick  draw  showdown  was  his  preference .            ❝      hope  they  all  got  some  scenes  as  exciting  as  this   . . .   an’  i  hope  you  know  you’re  stayin’  for  all  of  ‘em .     still   ---   weird  n’  future-y  but  you’re  kinda  gettin’  me  into  it .     ❞             it  all  felt  mundane ,    a  movie  with  pizza .     more  human   &   less  gun .

Baby was tired, indeed. Since this all had started, she had barely been sleeping, and bascially lived on burgers and coffee. Just like Dean. But the former car would feel pretty guilty for sleeping as long as there were still people out there that needed her help. “I’ve rested maybe an hour last night while Dean got us some food. Does that count?” She had no clue yet if Colt was still used to all those things humans needed to do, and, if the circumstances were better, Baby would take her time to teach Colt one or two things.

“Typical Sam, huh? he can not just sit around somewhere at least for five minutes. I swear, he would forget to eat if I would not remind him….” But that was not the only thing Baby did worry about. She knew how Sam had been addicted to the demon blood. And with every addiction, she doubted it would just go away again. Not to mention there was a good chance that it would all get worse again now. Sam was also only human, after all. “Let me guess…. if he is going to freak out again, he wants you to kill him?”

❝     i’m  no  expert ,  but  i  don’t  think  an  hour  cuts  it .    ❞           he  knew  even  dean  got  about  four ,  on  average .    the  colt  hadn’t  kept  track  of  his  own  much ,  but  he’d  assume  it  about  the  same .    while  things  were  still  somewhat  of  an  oddity  to  him ,  he  had  lived  like  this  for  a  year  now  before  finally  finding  the  winchesters .    sleep  was  the  first  thing  that  he’d  gotten  somewhat  used  to .    he’d  been  so  solitary  the  past  year  as  well  though , no  friends  or  anything  of  the  sort  to  speak  of .    only  his  job  which  didn’t  exactly  make  him  feel  any  different  from  being  a  gun .    being  taught  to  see  the  world as  something  other  than  a  weapon  was  still  a  learning  process  & ,  though  current  times  weren’t  a  very  good  lesson ,  this  sort  of  small  moment  was .    quiet ,  simple  talking .    worrying  over  someone  he’d  found  himself  caring  about .         ❝     you  need  some  sleep  before  goin’  back  out .   ❞

❝     dunno .   the  digestive  system ?    i  feel  like  goin’  to  the  bathroom’s  just  inconvenient .    it’s  not  really  anywhere  in  my  favorites .     ❞

❝     heard  rumors ,  that  azazel  is  alive .    i’d  wouldn’t  be  against  putting  another  bullet  in  his  ugly  head .    sam  n’  dean  say  lucifer  is  out   &   about .    i  can’t  kill  him ,  but  i  wish  i  could  because  i’ve  never  liked  him .     other  than  that    …   no  one  specific .    just  every  ugly  high  talkin’  son  of  a  bitch  i’ve  spoken  to ,  really .    ❞

(¸.• ♛ → She has been here an entire day and even if it was few people that were a bit out of their mind, at least it was just that. However, some people were still inffected as some others call it, the girl tried to fight back and kicked him out of her and again, when she was up, kicked him twice in rage, she couldn’t help it, she wasn’t inffected but she has temper and she stopped, looking at the person, Claire knocked him out “Honestly, this is starting to annoy me so much” She muttered to herseelf, not even aware that someone was near.

“Good. I already had enough of that stuff lately. No desire for more anytime soon.” With this words, Baby flopped down onto the couch next to Colt, the gun still all ready in her hand. It was maybe odd to see the former colt being all human now, but then, she had been a car herself, so there was no way Baby would complain.

“Have you seen Sam already? Dean and I have been doing some hunting earlier, but I have no idea how the big boy is doing right now.” And, frankly, due to his past, Baby was a little worried Sam would have some sort of relapse with all this stuff happening around them these days.

he  can  feel  the  couch  give  a  slight  bob  when  she  throws  herself  down  on  it .    now  that  she’s  beside  him ,  he  spares  a  glance  from  the  revolver  in  his  hand  to  her .    she  seems  tired ,  he  thinks  .    then  again ,  what  does  he  know  about  human  health ?    what  does  she  even  know  on  it ,  for  that  matter ?             ❝     you  been  sleepin’  alright  lately ?    not  lettin’  this  shit  wear  you  out  too  much ,  are  you ?      ❞            they  need  sleep  now .   sleep ,  &  food ,   &   water    . . .    he’s  glad  to  have  someone  else  in  the  winchester’s  circle  that’s  new  to  the  experiences  as  well ,  though .

It was pretty rough outside, more than Dean originally anticipated and with more and more people seeming to get infected by the day, the situation was growing serious. More serious than he feared he and Sam would be able to handle together. Either they were out of practice or this THING was simply just bigger than them. It was taking their friends  single-handedly one by one which did nothing but cause Dean to be determined to figure it out that much quicker. Sam was on it, he knew his brother would find the answers but in the meantime, Dean was going to protect as many as possible. So when he found himself in an abandoned gas station, he pulled out his gun in protection because one can never be too careful especially right now. He hears a relatively familiar voice, not lowering his weapon for anything, “Yeah well do you really want to try your luck on threatening a–” He let out a sigh at the next statement, no wonder the voice sounded familiar, he lowered his gun, never felt so happy to see someone he knew he’d be able to trust. “Okay relax, man, it’s me, it’s Dean, your favorite.” He stated with a confident smirk as he walked closer knowing he could definitely use his help in the mist of all this chaos. “You would never want to shoot your favorite, would you?” He teased.

It seemed that the Scot was not the only one in need of picking up urgent supplies, as inquisitive hues watched another whilst hands brushed across a number of things, slipping them with a care into her bag, needed ones to bring back to those she was aiding. “My goal is always more to quell chaos rather than brew it” She spoke, turning round a little, though sometimes chaos was formed from her without that being a goal. “Fate isn’t always so blessed for me” The woman added on, a skeptical gaze towards where the weapon was held, death was not an uncommon threat given to her, just a sharp hike of breath accompanying her. “But I am divinely chosen. Perhaps that enough will be my luck” That was half a lie in itself. No matter the status of her birth and what that meant she would become, death would always haunt her more than for any regular person, it was a constant shadow trailing the life she could so freely hold. If anything, her divine choosing, that was a death sentence.

A look at the other, John couldn’t help but smile. The other felt familiar. And without thinking, words got out of his mouth. “You’re the Colt. That’s why Dean don’t have you.” Statement, the Winchester’s eyes turned completely black. “We both know you can kill me.” He said, but took a few steps closer. “But you won’t. Because you’re protecting my sons, and they will never forgive you if you do. But that’s your choice, after all.” Emptiness in his eyes, he moved closer to the man. “Take a shot.”

“ oh, bang bang, ” kate hums in amusement, but the voice and laugh that rolls out of her doesn’t belong to the preacher’s daughter. there’s a darkness in her quite literally, the queen of something beyond earth and all its living things, and the poison makes her strong enough to take control. “ you’re pretty, so i’ll forgive the threat. stupid, but pretty. i do like the gun, however. ” footsteps echo as she moves closer, unphased by the barrel of the weapon pointed right at her. “ wanna hand it over ?? ”
