Description: Your usual baseball player, one playable character in a team of 8 identical others, one team in a lineup of 12 others. Duster doesn't seem to mind this obscurity, or seem to mind anything, really… its hard to tell with that subdued expression.
Im 18 and from the UK. You can call me Baggy or Duster :P. I like drawing and writing and imagining myself kissing various characters. This is my side blog. Uhh that's it.

(CW: Slight mention of sexual activity, emotional abuse, messed up familial relationships, etc.)
Ask here! So, being the indecisive little worm I am— I chose both of the options I spoke about I broke this post into two parts, if you just want to see one part you can either just read the part on top or bottom of the photo I put in the middle.)
Pre-programmed child:
- This is the simplest of the two options, but a rare thing in arcade games. I know of only a few arcade games where family members are all in the same game; they're either nonexistent, dead, absent, and mentioned in passing, or actively trying to kill said family members for the sake of lore and angst.
- For the sake of simplicity and not making this too long, let’s assume that the reader and their kid, (which I will call M for now) are very close, maybe both playable characters in their game- A duo of some sort, inseparable. I’m sure that due to them already being an adult they handle their parent finding a partner in Turbo-
- At least, at the very beginning. It all goes down hill when M realizes how much of a jerk he is– Tracking dirt around, coming off as a slob, disrespectful remarks that slide by either due to his own or the reader’s insistence, bragging endlessly about his triumphs in his game and maybe beyond that, in a nutshell he is not a person an adult child would want their parent being romantically tied to. Tension between the two is palpable whenever the racer swings by with a new trophy to show to his lover or comes by to hang out, and Turbo doesn’t help lessen it as that sassy and snarky side of him comes out to play just to aggravate M.
- But they see just how happy he seems to make the reader so, maybe for a bit they hold their tongue, maybe the reader was programmed as a widower or even their previous lover they had M with is a villain that they simply can’t get along with whether it be due to morals or simply the void where their love used to be. It could be that this is their first attempt at a relationship when their game got plugged in. It's sympathetic and sweet; seeing their parent moving on after such a tragedy or horrible breakout and becoming less guarded about it all… But it doesn’t do much to soften their annoyance with Turbo.
- As Turbo, he just loves taunting M a lot, every kiss from reader is met with a kiss of his own, giving M a smug look, honestly I do kind of see him stirring up shit just for the sake of it– He’s childish in that way, knows all the buttons to push to make M seem bitter over this relationship in the most embarrassing way he can think of. Anything to make himself seem better in the eyes of not only the other characters of the arcade, but the readers themselves.
- And when he supposedly died in his desperate scheme of getting the attention he loved so much from not only the players, but the arcade as a whole, M was left to pick up the pieces of their distraught and mourning parent, heartbroken once more, makes them significantly more wary of the people that try to date their parent, not in a way weird, more in a… In a concerned manner, something that takes a while for them to get over, especially when a decade later after the Turbo incident, the reader becomes friends with a certain sugary king with such exaggerated movements and words– Coming off as far more kind and goofy in contrast to the other people the reader had interest in the past.
- I do see King Candy using the readers insecurities and fears to his advantages like anything else, trying to make it seem as though he was the best person that the reader could’ve chosen from out of anyone in the arcade, the dates are enough to make cupid blush, pet names that revolt M at times whenever they hear them in passing, gifts that almost suffocate reader, a honeymoon phase that the reader finds themselves completely enveloped in– The perfect way a manipulator gets their victim to stay.
- But those cracks show themselves once more the second the reader and King Candy become closer, those selfish mannerisms of old enough to make M squint suspiciouslessly, questioning their parent only to be brushed off for the most part– Who may be simply wanting this relationship to work, to not crash and burn, to not have what happened with Turbo, and to not push their parent too much they lay off– But their suspicions only grow as that familiar twinge of annoyance backs itself up in their throat like bile whenever his “frostiness” makes some jabbing comment about something about them.
- Slowly but surely he can distance the reader from M, spinning lies, half-truths, and everything in between to get them to be right where he wants them, his more malevolent behaviours hidden behind a sense of duty as a “king”, that he truly cares for not only Sugar Rush, but everyone in the arcade– Especially the reader, sweet words easily able to convince the reader, knowing every little thing to say, to do, everything to keep them to himself like one of his old trophies during his Turbo-Time days.
- When the truth comes out again, and again Turbo has found a way to break the reader's heart it’s enough to make anyone want to do something about it, and I do believe M does something, like helping Ralph, Vanellope, and the rest of the gang. The revenge and vindication are almost sickeningly satisfying, finally able to get to their parent with logic and that familial love they always had on their sleeve without that intentional fog KC would induce.
(Not mine!)
Biological child:
- Now this is a trickier more experimental one based off of some concept art of the sequel based off of an idea that was scrapped… But to give this a proper look, maybe a surprise pregnancy between the two occurs after a drunken night at Tapper’s ended in the sheets, those two blue lines changing everything…
- Panic is the first thing to set in, to put it simply, Turbo would freak the fuck out, lash out, leave even, he thinks that and KNOWS that he wouldn’t be a good father.
- Anyone in the 5 game cabinet radius knows that, especially the reader— Angst abounds, lover quarrels hiking up in frequency, it’s a chaotic thing that festers and boils up until the kid comes along and Turbo comes face to face with the little sun spot and he finds himself feeling a twinge of something that has never felt before… Something he wouldn’t care (or too scared) to describe; a twinge of care, a twinge of love even.
- I don’t see this being a planned thing, he’s too into himself to want to share his life with something so dependent on him at first… I mean babies take a lot of care. Then again I do believe he’d realize that this dependence could benefit him— Solidifying his image as a good guy in the eyes of the arcade, to further nail it in, the baby version of them is used as a means to make him look good…
- That and I think as heartless as he may be, the kid is innocent here, they didn’t ask to be born, and maybe they even look like him, helps him come to care for them— In a kind of… Self-projection way. It’s grossly unhealthy as we all know.
- It’s abuse, it’s almost glaringly obvious, his expectations for a literal baby to start racing the soonest they could… Accepting nothing but a successful kid, just like how he is in a previous post of mine.
- The kid would come to know even after his death. Maybe the kid remembers him briefly, but I don’t think they’d remember much because he’d have to “die” when they were young, his horrid actions following them like a shadow as their parent is left to pick up the pieces of their messed-up little family.
- Maybe even with him ‘dying’ when they were young, that idea of being ‘the best’ is stuck in M’s mind— With his name being no more than a taboo subject and by proxy, themselves, I mean if your dad was known for literally plugging two games due to his impulsive selfishness I’m sure in the setting of the arcade M is going to be treated like an outcast— A “Turbo Jr” just waiting to get their hands on a game to destroy…
- It’s all very… Unfair, much like what happens with Vanellope and Ralph, both outcasts, both treated unfairly for fitting stereotypes that are deemed terrible… Maybe it makes them as desperate as Ralph was to prove himself, intentions pure but also fueled by selfishness.
- I do see a kind… Periwinkle and Pennywise-like relationship occurring between M and KC, not even knowing he’s their father (or hey he may tell the truth to further gain the trust of the child from his past) they just want a father figure who believes in them- To care for them, to give them the affection their father wasn’t able to after he ‘died’… But if the reader and this version of M are as close as the other version- I do see them becoming suspicious of it— He’s just… Too much like him, causing concern, like Turbo, it’s like looking into the past and seeing their old flame being the manipulative ass hole he is. Maybe they figure it out, maybe they don’t… It all comes out eventually.

(Ask here! Here you go guys! Hope you enjoy it <3)
- In a situation like this, I do see this happening- I mean, even with a whole different appearance and disposition there is no hiding that “better than thou” type of personality that clings onto him like a second– Or rather a third skin.
- We don’t know much about what he was like previously. Still, we know enough that as Turbo he wasn’t the best person- Romantically and otherwise, and his type of personality is something you don’t exactly ignore- Being specifically programmed to have all of the attention, that and as he grew mentally, he grew for the worse when all of that attention went to his head.
- Smoke and mirrors can only do so much, especially when he has those flashes of violence when things don't go his way– That malevolent glint in his eye is enough to pull a reader who had come to know him, love him, hate him in a way.
- He thinks he’s so clever, too, believes he has everyone fooled, when the reader doesn’t tell him they know till it’s too late, and he’s a monstrous hybrid bug monster drunk on mania. – Though I do believe he would have moments where he was suspicious of what the reader knew, how painfully ironic.
- Whatever reason the reader may have to conceal the truth from not only the rest of the arcade, but the previous object of their affections, it was probably due to self preservation- I mean, the mere mention of Turbo is used as a negative connotation when someone feels as though they want more than what their games provide them to the point where they game hop, it’s probably for the best that they decide to keep that hidden.
- If a relationship with King Candy occurs and it’s romantic that’d certainly be something interesting, like King Candy bending over backwards to try to not seem as Turbo-y as he usually is when it came to his rule of Sugar Rush, like an act- A game he’s forced to play so he doesn’t go back to hiding like he did for that decade before Sugar Rush was plugged in.
- I’m sure it’s exhausting for both parties. For example, we do see him dropping the sugary-sweet act the second he can. His snark is all-encompassing; it’s a knee-jerk reaction, but instead of a twitch of the muscle, it’s him putting someone down to benefit himself.
- It’s almost sickening, affection that is only partially true at best and totally fake at worst, an emptiness that can never be filled because the cup itself has holes– eroded by lies and manipulation, it can wear on anyone.
- The similarities are almost laughable at points, some of mannerisms as though they were plucked straight from the mind of the reader and planted onto the king, a phrase here, a habit there, it’s almost bittersweet when it’s paired with that facade of his, pet names and terms of endearment concocted with that edge of hostility of the racer they knew all those years ago.
- It'd take a lot of self-fortitude to not just come out of it- Tell him they know about his not-so-secret secret. But then again, being in a relationship with him alone takes a lot out of a person; there’s good, for sure, but not enough to excuse his behavior at times. Though he is more even-tempered than he used to be, he’s still rotten to the core.
- I’m sure there’s moments where he wanted to tell them– Not for their own sake of course, but playing pretend can only be prolonged for so long, spreading him thin- Making his more ‘ugly’ side of him peek out when things don’t go his way, only making him more angry in a way when reader lets him express it without saying anything.
- So when his plan crumbles in front of him, his mask destroyed, reputation ruined, one identity replaced by another more animalistic one, he doesn’t care anymore– And should he? His new body made him feel liberated, powerful, untethered from the expectations of the arcade, the euphoria is intoxicating.
- The initial shock of his transformation replaced with sadistic glee, which he displayed himself like a male peacock when he sees reader in the chaos, the horde of cy-bugs buzzing around in suffocating swarms framing the blood red skies of the once cartoonish landscape his own personal nirvana– Form glitching from his original face to the one he crafted for Sugar Rush, hiding no longer an option even if he tried.
- The attention, the shock, the fear, he feasts upon it ravenously, eyes wide, grin stretched from ear to ear– The reader’s usually dampened emotions from being so used to him and his antics are overshadowed by the instinctual fear–
- When the reader admits to knowing about his lies, having known exactly who he was after maybe the first few interactions they had with him, it tickles him pink, a torrent of emotions is enough to make him cackle at the twisted irony of it all–
- They knew; they fully knew, but didn’t say anything! He doesn’t know if he should take notes or not- The deception is almost deliriously delicious to him, a match made in heaven, or hell to whoever is witnessing this forest fire of a relationship.
- Hoards them like a dragon with a pile of their gold, greed and ambition unbridled one of his grubby clawed hands on some part of them, as though they’d slip away if he lets go– And in a way, that’s the truth- The unblinking eyes of the cy-bugs focusing on them like the next thing on the menu; only to be quickly struck down by the mutated king’s horrible temper.
- The very same temper that helped the reader realize the truth-that Turbo and King Candy were one of the same appearance changed but objective all the same; to not fall into obscurity. To be remembered, whether for the right or the wrong things.
- It’s common knowledge that the bad things in life are more likely to be remembered whether it be someone’s controversies, violence, or tragedies are almost always the things that are in the headlines, and for someone like him–
- He’d do anything to cement himself into history. Ambition leads to greed, and greed leads to pride, the idea of being known as the strongest virus in not only the arcade but beyond that? Oh, he’d do anything to make that be reality, whether or not the reader will be up for it.
A/N: this is my first time writing for them sorry if this kinda ass. I've been really interested in this movie lately. Hopefully I can get my other pieces out too!
King Candy 👑🍬:
❤︎ I feel King candy would mind PDA although more along the relationship he could be more open to it in the future. He wouldn't mind giving a cheeky kiss on your hand or even quick nose boops.
❤︎ Don't get him wrong he is a passionate lover! In private, he would feel more relaxed enough to actually be physically intimate with you. (Kisses, hugs, etc...) The one person he doesn't mind seeing his affections with you is...Sour Bill.
❤︎ One thing he physically likes you to do in private is hold him between your thighs while rubbing playing with his hair. You could probably get away with playing with his crown. This is a big stress reliever for him especially when he's having a bad day
❤︎ Introducing him into more would have to be slow or he might just end up deciding not to ever do it again. I think light shoulder rubbing and hand holding can make him feel more comfortable while actually in the presence of the candy citizens.
Turbo🏎️💨:
❤︎ This guy is massive fan of pda. He loves putting his arms around your shoulders while bragging to his fellow game mates at Tapper's. He doesn't mind kissing you in front of people. I actually think it's become a problem for you. The constant groaning of people in Tapper's just trying to get a root beer. (although, I think this still gives Turbo a sense of valdation)
❤︎ In general, he is just very open about his feeling when it comes to you. He'll always make sure everybody knows your his #1. His affections do get repetitive overtime in public. That's why you enjoy your more quiet, private moments with him.
❤︎ One of the moments you cherish is when you ride in alone in his car with him. Sometimes you'll just cruise around then stop just to enjoy each other. He'll nip at your neck, teasing you into making you smile.
❤︎ You are glad that you're one of the only people to see him in his solitude. He really is a different guy when he isn't wanting to be the center of attention.
(I hope you guys enjoyed this! Even though, this actually kind of short. I have more coming soon! You can also feel free to send something if you have interesting things to request!)
You know the part in the 10th anniversary undertale livestream when asriel starts talking about how many years its been. Imagine its you/your OC saying that in reference to the roadblasters incident where turbo "dies"
"It can't have been a year already. It can't have been ten years already. It can't have been 20 years already. Everything, everyone i loved can't keep getting further away. Please... I dont want to keep getting older... not without you."
Bonus points if its directed towards Turbo/king candy himself
I'm ready to make a confession - I've almost never been completely satisfied with the way I drew the Turbo, no matter how hard I tried to make it look as similar as possible, or just how I like it, it never turned out perfect for me. Perhaps this is partly the reason for my dismorality

You gotta wonder if he was worried his candy subjects were essentially being attacked, thrown around and possibly injured, or if he was just concerned his 'perfect kingdom' was being attacked and ruining his image.
I think we all can agree he's very selfish and cruel for doing what he did, taking over and making sure Vanellope is left out.
Maybe at the start he does see all the citizens and racers as fools who are just there to make him racing, HIM winning, even sweeter.
I think what gets me is the TIME he's put into it, the way the racers and citizens aside from Vanellope LOVE AND TRUST HIM.
How they DON'T suspect him.
"King Candy says glitches can't race."
"The rules are there for a reason, Vanellope. To protect us."
A few scenes come to mind where comforts and soothes their fears, other scenes where he pretty fairly could have lost his temper or acted rudely but he's always very gentle with his subjects and underlings.
Of course he's thinking of himself, his facade, but for this thing to work he does ALSO have to think of them and their feelings.
It's in his best interest for them to feel safe and comfortable.
When selfishness and the common good overlap I wonder if that line gets a little blurry.
(There's no reason for him to be acting like this if Sugar Rush is no longer active, nowhere to race, nowhere to WIN. Why not drop the act even in this theoretical example? ((Which becomes cannon in the second movie but w/e))
And looking after them for 15 years, I have to imagine some part of him HAS to care after ACTING like he cares for that long.
Also it's worth mentioning in Turbo time, the crowd had NO FACES
Faceless cheering, hollow celebrations. Going from that to such a vast world of sweet, adoring fans. Supportive and helpful, even though they're misguided.
“I look forward to seeing you,” said King Candy, “at tonight’s Royal Race Royale!”
Ralph whirled around with his fists at the ready to wreck. A little ways ahead of him, a true-to-size video of King Candy played on the station’s public announcement screens. Surrounding characters paused their conversations to watch the announcement, moving in closer with smiles on their faces, and nudging one another excitedly. Their apparent fondness of King Candy disturbed Ralph, but not as much as King Candy’s new outfit: he wore a red cape with white trim behind his shoulders that was buttoned with a piece of hard candy at his throat, to the point where he seemed to be flaunting his Turbo-ness, as well as a blue tunic with a deep slit in the front that was embroidered with candy shapes, white pants, and blue shoes. Though still a bit ridiculous, his appearance was far less goofy and whimsical than it had been at Liwak’s Arcade. Judging by his clothing, he appeared to be seeking a more authoritative look, though his behavior remained as effusive as ever.
I decided to draw out the outfit I described in chapter five of Arcade Ojata. Once I finished the design, I sent it over to @springbon-t-art who then created this masterpiece! This is my third time commissioning her and I still manage to be surprised by how SCRUMPTIOUS it turns out. Thanks Spring!
Hi guys! Now that I've recovered my account here on Tumblr, I've decided that it would be cool if I were to introduce my WIR AU here for anyone interested in reading it! I currently have 11 chapters written out so far, which is in a Google document currently available in the BBB Discord server! Please note that I'm pretty new to Tumblr as I'm mostly active on Discord, and things on this new platform might confuse me at times. But if any other fans of WiR are curious, here's an AU focusing on Turbo trying to reconnect with the Turbotwins (+ Much more coming in the future! The server invite link is here if anybody wants to join. Have a Turbo-tastic day, everyone!)
(I will be sure to post art and concepts here for Tumblr as well)

I know there's technically a turbotime game as a Disney app or something but no
I want an actual franchise, with sequals and spin-off and character exploration and LORE. Preferably not in the clutches of Disney but we can all dream.

Seeing everyone making Turbotime ocs makes me tempted to make one myself, but the thing is I am very one-track minded when it comes to my ocs, meaning I have a habit of only (hyper?)focusing on one oc at a time and i already have Duster. So if I were to make a turbotime oc itd probably be a blatent ripoff of them
