guess I’m a king candy simp now

Took place after the second movie, except Sugar Rush just reinstated King Candy when Vanellope left. Apparently because she wasn't around.

A shadowy version of King Candybug started attacking various places in Sugar Rush (including a Faris Wheel on the beach?). Almost specifically going after King Candy. Ralph saves him and they go to the castle.

King Candy admits that back when he first took over Sugar Rush, he didn't do so alone. Because during his exile he got married to someone named Michael.

When they snuck in, Michael was given player 3 status, a cool gimic, swords, and a position of power. Michael was enraged, saying that player 3 never wins anything, said his gimmick was too complicated for the kids, and the swords were useless.

He was going to blow the whole thing open. So King Candy was forced to kill him before he figured out how to make them respawn.

Except Michael is now using the King Candybug form to hunt King Candy down.

AND THEN I WOKE UP. I have no clue how it ends and I'm so annoyed.

Oh I love long dreams like these, because just WHAT does your brain create when you're not even conscious and then takes it away.

KC form but slight markings on his face, hair just slightly jagged and the tailcoats just extended like cybug cerci tails. He can't really remove them (altho he misses the other features), but he learns to live with it. It gives him a new reputation in the Internet world.

Van & Ralph meet up with him by fate, and as they walk along the WiFi world, KC starts asking Van about the game.

"Tell me, what has become of my beloved Sugar Rush?"

Van gives him a look with a sound. KC rolls his eyes.

"Of.. Sugar Rush."

And Van doesn't know what else to really tell him... except how she doesn't live there anymore, the game is without a ruler, one of the cabinets is gone... aaand she accidentally caused the main controller to break.

"Hold on, YOU WHAT?!"

The markings on his scene glow, sharp teeth bare from his canines, bright burning white-out cybug eyes, his usually soft rounded hands glitch out into the familiar talons for a heated second in his outburst at her.

Seeing their reactions, he closes his eyes, taking a deep breath where the sudden features ease out, shrinking done to his initial form. In this new world, he learned to control his new aspects.
