Dusk Eternal

I've spoken to a lot of people and they are eager for conflict and combat in the rp community against other players and even guilds. To add the richness of problem solving and conflict resolution to their stories and character progression without the need to use an NPC. This my RP friends is WONDERFUL!!

Why?

Because being able to cooperatively write conflict and combat with those in your community builds trust in your fellow community members! Because it forces communication and at the heart of it allows to be apart of eachother world's and stories.

What about people who don't want to lose?

Well you know I tell people Dusk loses ALOT. Sometimes the rolls don't go my way but I don't get upset. The reason is because losing is actually a way better story and use for progression of your character. Example:

Winner walks into a bar." Did you see that fight? I smashed that guy's face in the mud then impaled his own sword into his hand. It was great. He won't be messing me with again..."

Loser walks into a bar covered in blood and mud. Everyone knows something happened to him but don't know what. Someone dares to ask... "I called someone a goat then pulled on their horn. How was I supposed to know they were attached? She called me a pig shoved my face in the mud.. and this? Well.. let's just say I'm going to wear gauntlets from now on when I flirt with Dwarf women..."

Just because you are losing the fight doesn't mean you can't use that loss to your character's progression and story, and also don't forget.. you don't have to keep fighting! 9-10 times if you ooc talk to the person you're fighting with, they will totally be up for your character bowing out or something that serves your character. People are genuinely good natured ooc and all they want to know, really, is that you respect their writing and their character just as much as your own. That you are there to have fun -with- them.

I am always up for combative rp and if you want to join in to some chaos let me know. If you feel uncomfortable with -anything- whisper people, or me it's cool.

Now I felt like sharing this because people have expressed that they really want some real conflict in stormwind RP to the point they are disappointed when it doesn't happen. So.. let's write together and communicate with eachother :D because at the end of the day.. we all RP in the same sandbox. Be kind to one another.

The fading sound of life within the city came as the twilight began to touch the cobblestone. The fleeting moments between darkness and light were no one stirred save the wandering souls that lingered. Such a wandering soul made her way to the cemetery, passed the headstones and tombs to the bramble thorns that had taken over a space hidden behind everything else. With a wave of her hand, the thorns pulled away like a curtain revealing a single tombstone with runes upon it that belonged to a time before all others existed.

There she stood a moment, watching the stone as if it were a living being simply sitting before her.  A sorrowful smile had spread timidly across her pale lips as several heartbeats slipped away. In her right hand, cradled by metal laced talons, twisted the green throne covered stem of a pure white rose. With every twist of its stem, the rose came closer and closer to brushing its petals against the ground. Finally, the woman stepped forward bringing her other hand to her lips. Feline like fangs bit into her alabaster skin, causing beads of blood to form from the tender wound. Another bare step forward and the blood of her hand was smeared over the runes causing them to burst into life with a purple hue. Sinking to her knees she leaned her forehead to the stone as if to a lover. “Ditto..”

Xollow: Oh! Fret not Lady Dusk, I won't tell anyone our secret about your weakness. I feel... honored to know it exclusively.

O'Connell: What's your weakness? Handsome men?

Dusk: "Violent men.. actually."

O'Connell: If violent men are your weakness, how the hell do you get anything done in this town?

Dusk: "Trust me. There is no man in this city that has near enough violence and dominance within his grace to obtain my attention let alone claim myself.

Misam: What about women? They can be violent.

Dusk: "Women? Yes.. well. They tend to be lead by their emotions and not by their purpose. I am not picky... "

Xollow: shakes his head with a laugh. "How strange it is with you, that you perceive relationships based on the romance of the fight?"

Dusk: titled her head and smirked. "If you actually understood my weakness you would know why the fight is so important." she winked.
