━━✫・*。 duri’s call is so quiet hyejung barely registers it, masked by the whir of machinery in the room. it’s only the off time beats that really makes her turn her attention onto her cousin- who, in that moment, makes hyejung wonder how they were six years apart in age. feelings flood through her chest- fear, worry, relief- all at once, her eyes stinging before she can even process what’s going on. “oh my god,” she breathes out, not missing the dampness beneath her eyes. “you’re okay. you’re okay- uh, let me call the doctor, aunt taekjo and uncle minho are nearby- god, wren i-,” she shakes her head, taking a deep breath. “sit back a bit. i’ll be a second,” she murmurs.

it was probably a poor idea to leave her injured cousin just waiting in thin air, but in her defense it was only for a few moments before she returned to his side, gently handing him a glass of water. “here. you sounded like you had sandpaper glued in there,” her attempt to crack a joke is futile beneath the nervous look on her face, but she tries. “how do you feel? does it….” her voice trails off, eyes glancing at the bandage across his head. “does it still hurt?” idiotic. completely and utterly idiotic. it’s the only thing that runs through her head as she stares at the covered injury. how did it lead to this?

        he’s still, eyes just looking across the room. it’s almost as if right now doesn’t seemingly feel real in a sense. maybe it’s because he’s still exhausted, more sleep is needed, and he can feel the pain a bit more that he took from the fall that occurred. he raises his eyebrow slightly, registering the words that she’s speaking. he assumes that it was slightly nothing that she was going on about; he was okay, but really, he wasn’t fully okay. he’s never been, fully okay, and that’s okay. he nodded his head slightly, before laying back.eyes closed again for a few moments. 

“Good Appa, I don’t want to find out later that you are exhausted or sick or something!” Juliet smiled brightly at the male, if he was sick who would be able to match her beagleness? plus it would make the girl worried sick for him since he was her appa after all. “I’m all good, not to hard at all” That was somewhat a lie, she was working hard to be good enough for 7rophy and her sisters since she felt like she was the one who lacked in the group. “That’s like the smartest idea I’ve heard, and you get to eat anything you want? Amazing!” She would have to ask around if she could do  that herself. “You are very welcome!” A bright smile covered her face. “Cookies are the best way to keep you energy!”

━━ *:･ﾟ✧ SOMETIMES , SERI WONDERS is this truly what she wants ? but the answers comes to her almost immediately . IT IS . IT IS !!!  even though it hurts , she comes back to it . she tries to be what they want her to be . she tries to be give what they want , even though she is wearing herself thin . SALLY is an idol and YOON SERI is a marionette . just a PUPPET for these faces that watch her . does she like being a doll ?

BY THEN , SERI had become a sobbing mess , has crouched to her feet  and hugged her knees to her chest . what is MORE  embarrassing than this ? she has tried to hold EVERYTHING inside and now it BREAKS down in front of her best friend’s boyfriend . seri has a bad habit of breaking down in places she shouldn’t . ❝ sorry . sorry , sunbae … ❞ sobbing out , rubbing her face with the palms pf her hands . his words were comforting that it makes her miss her own brother . ❝ i LIKE being an idol , but sometimes it’s just so hard ❞

Having only two stages for the night, the soloist is granted quite a lot of free time in between each set she was a part of – one collaborative stage and a solo stage. Neither of her stages was until later into the night, which she really didn’t mind much. It wouldn’t matter what time of the night her stage would be set up because she would’ve had a lot of down time whether she performed early or later on at the concert either way. Finding herself passing the time by working on songs or taking naps, she occasionally strays away from her waiting room to walk out her restless energy which seems to build up over time as long as she isn’t performing.

When she spots a very familiar face down the road, she is pleasantly surprised. A pleasant smile adorns her features, but her eyes burns with mischief. To outsiders, they are just two colleagues getting along. They’ve both been around for ten years which makes it difficult to not bump into each other one way or another. Lyra finds their interactions entertaining. Duri doesn’t seem to agree. She knows he’s seen her coming his way, which just was bound to make this even more amusing. “Hello there,” she greets him like an old friend greeting one another. Having their interactions caught on camera limits their freedom of action and speech, and while she usually would despise said fact (she still does) she finds she could use it for her own benefit of drawing forth a reaction from the older male. Placing herself in his proximity – close but not too close – she smiles innocently. “What are you up to?”
