She is a scholar/doctor and (As of right now) the only human in the group.
She spawned parentless in a tundra village as an infant and the surrounding villagers decided to not let her freeze and starve so they let her in their houses, but as soon as she was able she provided for herself. The village she grew up around had an abnormal amount of libraries. Eventually she figured out that none of the villagers were sentient and all creatures' reactions to anything she did were predetermined, or at least predictable. She started getting curious about what actions would lead to what predetermined responses. At first they were simple. Removing doors, changing profession blocks, and various other things in nature. Then she started discovering "easter eggs" and the lack of spatial limitations. It was easy for her to hurt anything, villager or rabbit or skeleton, knowing that it couldn't suffer because it couldn't feel. She was the only sentient being.
Her morals are a little difficult to pin down, as to a sheep that she knows isn't sentient, she can do whatever she wants to it regardless of how it fights back or desperately tries to escape her lab with no psychological consequences but if a sentient being/player makes an offhand comment about being cold or hungry she will get blankets set them near the fire and make a 3 course meal for them. The exception to the nonsentient creatures rule is Alphys the Axolotl. She studies Alphys for her regeneration abilities and, of course, because Nova finds her to be cute.
Nova lives with Yuriko and Malaria, and built most of the house they inhabit. Aside from her medicine/potion mixing and other experiments, she puts a lot of effort towards gathering obscene amounts of food to fill the cellar, and to make meals for primarily her roomates, but everyone else in town. Both the office and lab/clinic are where she does her work.
Yuriko sewed almost all of Nova's clothes, including a lab coat that Nova holds very dear.
She likes to consider herself to be very intellegent, possibly to make up for her lack of physical prowess. Growing up in the cold, she cannot cope with the heat of The Nether or warmer Overworld climates, and her stamina for travel and exploration is low. To add to this, she also struggles in combat.

She often feigns annoyance with her two roomates, but she loves them very much and has formed very strong bonds with both of them. As for her other relationships, she is relatively close to Magic, and is on friendly terms with almost everyone else. Enough so that she will invite them to dinner parties where she can utilize Malaria, Yuriko, and her own collection of music discs and food.
