wow okay so after practically abandoning this blog and then coming back in a spur of the moment, i am utterly shocked that i managed to get over 100+ spiders in almost one whole night? like, i havent been in this fandom for very long but oh my goodness, you all have been so kind and welcoming to me.

i would to give a particular shout out to @bonebuilt / @flcweytale who’s mun basically encouraged me to play undertale and gave me the final push to make muffet. i can’t thank you enough for putting up with my general sillyness on skype and all of our weird 3 AM talks. you’re really the MVP !

   knowing stan, just because it was “taken out of context” doesn’t mean the actual context was any BETTER. i like to think it was a halloween party ( or summerween, w/e ) a few years back … considering there’s something on fire, i’d say it’s not his own party – he wouldn’t be laughing if the shack was burning down around him.

      so, let me set the scene : a cool, pleasant evening. citizens of gravity falls have gathered to celebrate their favorite holiday together – and EVERYONE’S in costume. people laugh when stan pines, mr. mystery shows up in an all-too-accurate costume; SATAN.

    of course, they shouldn’t be so surprised that just because his costume is in good fun, it doesn’t mean he’ll be any more easygoing than usual. in fact, it’s the opposite. with this costume comes a hoard of kids and teenagers, teasing him. heckling him. the whole party, stan is trying to shoo them away as he completely fails to flirt with lazy susan.

His brother was nearly driven crazy and launched into another dimension.

His employees (who he really seems to care about) have been put through a chaotic hell.

His great-nephew has that too, and was tricked before and is still scared and paranoid because of it.

And now his great-niece is imprisoned.

What do these all have in common?

All of it is this asshole’s fault.

I mean, this implies that he was close enough with Mom and Dad Pines that he probably showed up to other family events.

He was probably that strange relative who showed up every other Thanksgiving or Christmas and would make bad dad jokes and try and spend time with the kids but only scared them off.

This means sending the twins to Oregon for the summer wasn’t a big deal to the Pines parents. I mean, Stan was the kind uncle who showed up for their birth and called on the twins’ birthday every year and was always as involved as he could be. He could be trusted to keep the twins from falling in a bear trap for the summer, right?

And Stan would just be angry and confused about how this was funny, that he- i mean his brother, was homeless for 10 years and went to jail 3 times and lived a hard life and didn’t have a completed education.
