Why are you acting like you’re old or sum? You’re like 31 I thought? 🫪 although love that for you that you’re teaching the next generation!

Old? No. Seasoned? Absolutely. Did you google my age? Thats almost a dead ringer. I'm 32.

I was gonna say that’s all part of the game.. until the breaking fingers part.

Have you broken someones fingers or attempted to? The sensation is worth it. I think I might be psychotic too

i... well, you were halfway to having the right idea. coaching's great because you get to create people who are eventually gonna kick your ass.

I never saw myself as a coach. I thought I'd be one of those wrestlers that just disappear into the night when I get old. Next thing I know I'm opening a wrestling school with my buddies and here we are. Its crazy. Ty likes to say that I'm contributing to the future or something.

The goal is to never aim to break fingers but if it happens tthats tough. Everyone should know by now that when you're in the ring with me or that Rayo Americano that likes to copy everything I do, that it's a possibility. It more so happened during my independent wrestling run than here because "Pete, we're not trying to scare the children."

Reaching the point of your career where you’re coaching younger talent definitely makes me feel weird. At the same time though, it’s pretty exciting breaking fresh fingers.

Don’t be love. It’s all apart of the learning curve. It’s definitely a surreal moment when one of your students tells you that he’s like 21 and youre 32 yourself. I probably grew up way too fast.
